A very emotional story. One of courage and suffering.

Its a sad story too a mans death, a mans exile , mens courage and mens cowardice.
I remember hearing the news that Steve Biko had died in 'an accident while in custody' my friends and I looked at each other and said 'yeah right, as if' .. We all knew he had been murdered. What we didn't know was how much courage it took to get the story out of South Africa.

This is a story that should be a thing of the past but it isnt, because as you read about a people who were exiled in their own land , denied basic human rights and subjected to constant and state sanctioned abuse you realise this story could be about any number of countries in the world today, where native people still do not have the right to live freely and enjoy the basic rights that other citizens do..

South Africa has changed a lot but the cowardice of men remains and their inhumanity to others is as bad as ever.
