These short stories have been written in a span of three decades (1981-2011) talking about paths crossed, life in general, people in different walks of life facing challenges thrown to them, grief, poets and writing, alternate world, books and reading, actors and inevitable life lessons.

I find the writing very engaging and really vibrant. The characters are so vivid and happening.

Out of the many stories (Play, Song Without End, Connectivity, A New Year's Party, The Taste of Almonds, Goddess of Clay, Honourable Mention, The Second Attack, Grey Pigeon, Major Event, Coming of Age, Winter Companions, Through the Looking Glass, Pretty Woman, A Lane in Lucknow), I love Through The Looking Glass as it talks about a man getting lost in books as he's losing his sight.
