Printed on heavy-duty card and hand-stitched to ensure maximum longevity, these stunning books go far beyond just naming familiar foods. Each spread shows the name of the food alongside a clear photograph against a dramatic painted background. Upon opening the full-page foldout to look inside the fruit or vegetable, kids can see which need to be peeled before eating and which have seeds, stones, pits, or other interesting things inside.

This book has very clear illustrations. A great way to tell children to eat fruits, and giving them the courage to eat them. A great book to use when teaching health and nutrition.

Great photography with bright colours, patterns and lift-the-flap pages. The text is fairly basic, but strategic and informative for developing brains.

This book teaches children of a young age about fruits that they may know as well as adds new ones to their vocabulary. The colorful pictures show the different fruits in a way children can associate with past experience. The book teaches the value of these foods with out making a child bored out of their minds.

This book can be used in the classroom when teaching health and nutrition. They fruits that are used in this book can be used to have children try them in the classroom. Use the fruits to have a tasting party and have children discuss the taste and thoughts they have about the different fruits.

Really clear pictures of various familiar fruits on vibrant backgrounds. Each spread shows one fruit and it's name - but open the flap to see which fruits have peel or skin, pips and stones... A question at the end prompts readers to go back and pick a favourite or discuss other fruits.
Beware ordering one Cool Watermellon which is simply a Photoshop'ed version of the same fruits and not very nice.
