A career criminal to support his drug habit, this is the story of Jack Brown whose life in crime led him to know Bonnie & Clyde, machine Gun Kelley, The Birdman of Alcatraz and how his family led him to God and a new life in Arlington, Texas.
This is a fascinating book. Jack Brown tells you how the draws of addiction can control a person beyond what non addicts can understand. He objectively tells the ins and outs of the prison system. I wanted to hear more of what Jack. Brown has to say.
I think my aunt loaned this to my mom at some point when I was in high school, and I read it once she'd finished it. Sadly, I don't remember anything at all about it now, other than mostly liking it. Seems to be somewhat obscure though... Now I wonder how on earth my aunt ever came across it in the first place!
