Lacy McKenzie has sheltered herself from any personal physical contact with people, to prevent any chance of hearing the deafening screams of victims that intrude her mind. However, the screams of three small children have invaded her seclusion. She desperately searches for the three children who have been abducted by a hired serial killer. With the help of Cole Kingston from the FBI, they hunt down the legendary serial killer only to find him dead, and the three children gone. The search for the children continues, while the mystery unfolds as to why these specific children are so important.
