Gordon Briley attended North Central Michigan College with creative writing being his primary focus. After becoming a father he headed into the direction of the health and fitness industry becoming a Nutritionist and a Certified Personal Trainer. Although health and fitness became his career he never lost the love of writing or creating poetry. After becoming a father for the second time Gordon, has focused his time and attention to creating stories for children. His direction was to create something different from the traditional type of children’s rhyming books and instead use rhyming to share stories of adventurous children such as his own.

I won this book free through Goodreads First Reads.I enjoyed reading the adventures of Lily and Ava. My daughter read them and she enjoyed it. These books let children explore their minds to try things, even if it is scary. It also connect with adventures that usually happen in everyday life for children. Good book.

I was very excited to win both books in this series for my daughter. she liked the element of mystery in this story of who was following the girls. once again we enjoyed the rhyming as well. while my daughter likes "New friendships" more this book has been a frequent in our bedtime routine. Thanks again!!

Enjoyable rhyming story for young children. Artwork is really cute. Finding the hidden cat throughout the book was a nice extra activity.

Cute story for toddlers and young children. Geared towards girls. Cute illustrations. nice quality hard back book. Rhyming makes it easy for kids who are learning to read.
