Scott and Leo are ice-hockey players, both who happen have to hots for luscious, curvy, apple pie making Kelly;

“―All right. Can‘t hurt. We need to present a united front if we‘re gonna do this.”

”Exactly. So both of us want her.”They‘d been attracted to Kelly since the moment they‘d laid eyes on her, but had come to the realization a few months ago that their feelings ran deeper than simple lust.”

They both team up in an effort to win Kelly over to their side, so called operation seduction. Kelly shares the desire for both Scott and Leo but is reluctant to share that fact, she believes her wanted to be wrong and with them both being known heartbreakers, she didn’t want to be another casualty but when Scott and Leo finally make their move, she is powerless to resist. The three have many bumps in the road on their way to finding happiness and working out how the relationship will work between the three, Kelly freaks out on a few occasions but her feelings always lead her back to the men she loves.
This is a prime example of how a ménage should be written. It isn’t overdone or cheesy. The characters each have a personality all of their own which leaps off the page. The way Kelly reacted after her first steamy encounter with Scott and Leo was realistic which is what I liked; she didn’t just jump on board with the plan or be accustomed to it right from the start. I really liked the side character Bonnie, she is open-minded and supportive of her friend and co-worker Kelly. This is my first Cassandra Carr read and I loved it. I devoured this in one sitting, unable to tear myself away from the story even if my life depended on it, the steamy romps between the three were written perfectly and the plot flowed and was easy to keep up with. If someone hasn’t been introduced to the ménage genre before, this would be a good starting off point.

SEXUALIOUS!

Wow, there is nothing hotter than athletic men especially when they are two buffed Hockey players. The story’s plot is well written to show the drama of struggles and conflicts of entering a ménage relationship and to top it off, a great perspective from both sides of the relationship where the Hockey players “Leo and Scott” have to deal with fame and political issues from their careers as well as the female “Kelly” who owns a successful restaurant. The author truly captured the emotions between the three as they experienced the stressors of dealing with their careers and how society accepted a ménage and whether they would let it control their lives.

This was an awesome fast quick short read that is exploding hot! The smooth writing comes alive and fills you with images of the threesome enjoying each other with double entry, blowing, sucking, eating, and tender sweet embraces that will assault your brain and take you over the edge sexually just by reading these scenes.

I loved the characters and found them humorous at times with the banter going on between them. I got so wrapped up in the story that I felt the emotion of each character and at one point was ready myself to jump in and kick some serious AZZZ – LOL – especially when Leo gave a reporter a knuckle upside his nose; I was truly cheering him on.

The happy ever after ending was great leaving you with hope for the threesome in the future. I definitely will be reading more of this author’s work.

Great Read!

Between 2-1/2 and 3 stars for me. Leo and Scott are professional hockey players who regularly share women. It's well known that they share women. For some reason, now they've decided they want to share the same woman forever. And this woman, Kelly, hasn't even gone out with them -- though she's attracted to both -- so it's understandably overwhelming when they both come on to her. Understanding, as well, that she'd think it's a temporary thing. So of course she resists.

I can't put my finger on what exactly didn't do it for me in this story. I think I just never got a feel for why Leo and Scott were so in love with Kelly or vice versa. I didn't "feel" the emotion. So the sex scenes just kinda fell flat for me. It wasn't a bad story, I just wasn't invested in the characters as I can get with other stories. When I'm invested, it means so much more when they get their HEA. Which this trio did, so that part was nice.

Leo & Scott are goal keepers for a pro hockey team. They both want Kelly, the owner of the bistro they go to after every home game, for a long term relationship.

Kelly wants both men, but is unsure how a ménage relationship would work out. She also worries how it would affect her reputation & business.

I really enjoyed this book. Kelly had the same concerns I think most people would have about a ménage relationship, but her concerns can't stop her from loving Scott & Leo. I also loved how both men show how much they love Kelly & they will do anything for her.

This was a fun, hot, & sexy read. I can't wait to read the next book in this series

What is there not to love about two professional hockey players hanging on your every word?

Scott and Leo are goal keepers for a professional hockey team who have set their sights on bistro owner, Kelly. And I must say she is one lucky girl. You have Leo who is the definition of tall, dark, and yummy, and blonde Adonis, Scott. With night and day personality’s you have enough to keep a girl on her toes. Kelly reminds me of the woman next door who has confidence issues. She comes across has very real with the same worries I would have if I was in her shoes.

This book was fast moving from the moment they decided that they wanted her. They pushed & prodded & played a little dirty until they got what they wanted. When everything looked like it would be okay things start to unravel. With a little push from a good friend their dreams of a future come true. Written with extreme pleasure in mind the author gives us so much heat that the pages of this book are scorched as the trio’s relationship intensifies.

As a big fan of romance books featuring athletes I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book, the first in a series entitled Buffalo Intimidators, to get a taste of a hot hockey player. What I found was not one, but two sexy hockey players who share more than just playing time. And for bistro owner Kelly, she's the lucky recipient of their undivided attention.

Leo and Scott are extremely sexy and each offer something different to this relationship. Leo is more spontaneous and animalistic, while Scott is more methodical and charming. They've shared many women before since first becoming roommates and the relationships were always about fun but nothing more serious. Being with Kelly though is all about emotions and both men have to use their talents to win her over. They see nothing wrong with sharing her but soon find out that the path is rocky for them to all achieve happiness.

Kelly has many reasons to be scared of a relationship with Leo and Scott, especially with the idea of a menage very new to her. Kelly already has body issues where she thinks she's too large to be attractive and doesn't believe one man will be attracted to her let alone two. Her self-esteem issues flare up from time to time causing hesitancy on her part. She also has big concerns about her business if people discover how she lives her personal life.

Leo and Scott constantly reassure Kelly of her attractiveness through the intense sexual interludes that take place often throughout the story. The scenes are hot with lots of edgy talk and each character gets equal time. This is a menage where everyone is equal. It's too bad the real world intrudes when a sleazy sports writer makes their menage known and peoples prejudices come out. This part of the story came out of nowhere and felt a bit over the top. It was merely a device used to pull our lovers apart.

As with most menages I've read, the feasibility of this kind of relationship isn't really dealt with, it's touched on but not really addressed. It's made to sound simple, but in the real world it's probably not the case. This didn't ruin my enjoyment of the story at all, but definitely kept me from becoming fully sucked into the story.

From the steamy sexual interludes to sexy hockey players I enjoyed this story from first page to last. The ruggedness of the game intrigued me and I long to see more from the world of the Buffalo Intimidators. Hopefully Ms. Carr plans to keep the game going for a long time to come since I don't want my first taste of these players to be my last.

Leo and Scott share many things in life. Starting goaltender positions for the Buffalo Intimidators hockey team, a luxurious penthouse, women, a love for Kelly's Bistro, and an easy friendship with it's owner. However, over the course of the last few months, Leo and Scott have decided that they want more from the voluptuous Bistro owner than just mere friendship, but how do you approach a slightly shy, self-conscious woman and tell her that her forever is with both of them?

Kelly is in her element when working at her Bistro. Her tendency to be a bit obsessive compulsive about cleaning and cooking works well for the business and she works hard to maintain those high standards. She's also all too aware of the hockey playboys that come in and do a little flirting with her while they dine after home games. She refuses to give in even a little since she can't afford to lose her restaurant or her heart.

The guys do their best to impress upon Kelly their seriousness now that they've decided she's the one, but nothing is that easy. Their “Operation Seduction” works well enough in the physical sense, but they didn't expect the emotional and society aspects to be quite so intrusive and neither did I.

This story isn't your typical after one night of hot sex leads to a happily-ever-after. There are barriers, and lots of exciting sex scenes with two gorgeous guys who complement each other very well in the looks and personality department. Tall, dark, and handsome Leo with an aggressive alpha-male attitude, while Scott has a charming personality and golden-god looks to match. In between all that male goodness is Kelly with her curvy figure and girl-next-door personality, which I found to be very appealing heroine traits in this story.

There are a few abrupt scene changes that sort of impeded the overall flow of the story, but I still found the story well-written. Throughout, there is much talk of Kelly's infamous “Intimidating Apple Pie”, which the guys just love to eat and use as foreplay, but even better is that the author included the recipe at the end of the story for reader's to enjoy however they like as well. Great story, great characters, and great start to a new series. If you like ménage romance stories, you'll enjoy this story!

All I can say is that if you are not a fan of or have not had the of pleasure of reading Cassandra Carr already, after this book you will be as addicted to her as I am for sure! In this book Cassandra gives us a fantastic menage m/f/m story about two best friend-hockey goalkeepers (Leo & Scott) and their love interest (Kelly), a local restaurant owner.

Leo & Scott are two famous goalkeepers for the Intimidators and just like the best friends do, they are they love to share. The guys think they have found their third in restaurant owner Kelly Chase. They have all flirted and joked around, but little does Kelly realize that these boys are not playing around, they are keeps.

After many months and lots of discussions on how this will work, Leo and Scott make their move. Kelly is overwhelmed, surprised, and very ready for her men. But as with any relationship there are struggles and in this high-profile, unconventional relationship, can they make it last?

Miss Carr does a fantastic job portraying the struggles of a menage relationship; the emotions, political and social aspects, and the deliciousness of one as well. You will love the banter between the characters and will quickly become a fan. Wonderful happily ever ending ending and I can't wait to see what's next as this is only book 1 in the new series! GO INTIMIDATORS!

We have two hot hockey players, Leo and Scott, who are teammates, best friends and roommates who are in love with the same cafe owner, Kelly. They go to Kelly's little bistro after every home game to have dinner and spend time with her. Problem is, Kelly has no idea they have any feelings other than friendship with her.

Scott and Leo pull a complete 180 with Kelly pretty damn fast once they decide it was time to let her know how they feel. They scare with the things they make her want and feel. Kelly's positive no woman, other than a whore, should love these two men and want to have sex with both of them at the same time.

Scott and Leo have shared before and have no issue with building a happily ever after with Kelly. The problem is, neither of them realize that Kelly needed to be brought into the lifestyle slowly and maybe talk about the logistics and how they were going to bring their relationship public. Instead, it was thrust in the spotlight by an investigative reporter, which had Kelly running and hiding from both men faster than a slap shot at the net Scott and Leo protect.

The story was enjoyable and hot as all hell. For those of you who may be a bit squeamish about having sex near prep areas and cooking appliances...take this as your warning!

Head Games is Cassandra Carr's first book in the Buffalo Intimidators series. Each book is a standalone story but features recurring hockey players. I read all three out of order and understood each story perfectly.

Head Games is about best-friends and hockey players Scott and Leo pursuing their favorite restaurant owner Kelly. Kelly is a huge fan of the team and has known Scott and Leo for several months before they make their move. Kelly is attracted to both guys which is good for them because they like to share. Kelly is intrigued by the prospect but after one night together Kelly runs scared, scared of her feelings and what other people will think of the unconventional relationship.

Scott and Leo do not give up easily. I don't want to spoil the story but I will say I found the conflict interesting and believable. Leo and Scott are both hot and sweet and Kelly is believable in her insecurities. I highly recommend this story to anyone who likes hockey romance with a twist.

Hockey players Leo Laporte and Scott Shaeffer have been biding time with their plans to seduce Kelly Chase. Frequently eating at her Bistro, they knew she is the one for them. Kelly finally looks ready to entertain the idea of a menage with them, but Kelly has reservations about how a relationship would actually work.

With outside influences pressing down on her, Kelly balks in the beginning of the relationship. Both Leo and Scott are not concerned about what others think as long as Kelly is by their side, but getting Kelly to understand how much she means to them is going to take some work on both their parts if they want any sort of future.

I was mixed on this one, Kelly seemed so unsure about the relationship it was hard to find the chemistry between all three. I think I would try the next one in the series.

Let me first say this, I LOVE HOCKEY! I love that this story is set in Buffalo, NY since I live in a suburb of Buffalo! It was great to read about landmarks and picture where they were.

Kelly is the owner of a local restaurant that Leo and Scott frequent after hockey games. Kelly finally realizes that she not only wants one of them, she wants both of them. She has concerns about what would happen if she acted on her wants.

Leo and Scott are teammates on the Buffalo Intimidators, best friends, roommates and in love with Kelly.

What happens when Leo and Scott decide to put their wants out there for Kelly? A steamy romance.

What happens when a local sports reporter uses a rumor to get a story? A hot mess.

What happens when Leo and Scott don't allow Kelly to run? An amazing love story!

I can't wait to read book two!!

2 1/2-3 stars. Quick read, not much depth, lots of sex, minimal character development, predictable plot...

If you like story lines that involve hockey players, this one is decent. Two goalies for the same team who like to share have their eyes on a local bistro owner - a good girl. They don't just want to share her, they've already decided she'll be more. They've been hanging around her restaurant for a while now, and they're ready to make their move. And then they do...

That's about it. From then on, the plot seems to exist only to drive their relationship further. There's an injury (lots of potential there, but it's not realized), a trade possibility (other than holding their collective breaths until the deadline passes, nothing), a pesky newspaper reporter...but nothing really comes of it except more sex. It was okay, but I won't be going back for more...

Great story about 2 goaltenders and the woman they love. She is a local restaurant owner who is attracted to both men but will not choose one over the other. She is concerned that a relationship with both men won't work. How they start working through these issues makes for a fun book. I loved the hockey elements!

Cassandra Carr's Head Games is a great read. I love reading how this normal girl struggled coming to terms with how a relationship with two men will work. And oh man, do these men know how to heat up a kitchen. Scott and Leo are teammates and know how to share play on and off the ice. If you like menage (M/F/M), read this book!

closer to 3 1/2 stars. Loved this authors bull rider series and since I LOVE hockey (duh, my avatar is Detroit Red Wings) I thought this would be AWESOME.... The story just didn't grab me like the other series. Starting the next book and will finish the series, hoping for a little more depth to the characters and a little more story. We shall see....

I wasn't as turned on as I was with the other novel prior to this one by the same author. I don't know why I didn't 'connect' with the characters as well but certain things about the novel felt fake to me, as soon as I feel the fakeness I can't stand the novel. It ruins everything for me.
