When I first started this book, I was expecting somewhat of the same old vampire/romance novel that has become popular of late....UGGGHH. I was pleasantly surprised that this story has some "bite" to it. It is apparent that it is the first novel in a series as the character development isn't complete, but that is to be expected. The loose ends at the finish just made me want to read the next installment. I won this book through Goodreads, and am so happy that I did.

I am partial because I wrote it.
But I think its great!
The adventure that awaits you within these pages will make you wonder, are there creatures of the night out there? And if so, should I be concerned that the owl outside my window isn't more than just an owl?
