It was a pretty tough set of math-related puzzles. I solved only about 75% of them. I could have solved some of the others if I'd been willing to devote enough time and effort to them.

One of the reviewers of this book at Amazon (a high school math teacher -- who, by the way, wrote some puzzle books of his own) stated that this book is too difficult for the ages suggested for the puzzle solvers. He said that he could solve only 75% of the puzzles.

I found at least a couple of puzzles that I thought were simply nonsensical (even after I checked the solutions in the back of the book.

For math puzzle lovers, this book is not all so bad. I'm currently working on some puzzles in "The Moscow Puzzles: 359 Mathematical Recreations" by Boris A. Kordemsky, edited by Martin Gardner.

Some of the problems were fun, some were tough and some were difficult and had to go to the answer. was a good set for kids to do with their math homework.
