Excellent book, maybe not as good as Get the Whole Story but excellent all the same. A Tarot reader or learner always ends a Ricklef book feeling he/she has learned lots of useful stuff. And so it is.

interesting book that demonstrated 22 3 card reading and 1 celtic cross for historical and fictional figures. I really enjoyed the variety of questions as well as how Ricklef explained his thought process. there really should be more tarot books like this instead of another same but different book on individual card meanings

I was, unfortunately, annoyed still by some of the virtue signaling like we cant answer Aristotle's question about the Macedonian King and his son who Aristotle was invited to tutor because it would violate their privacy (we have to reframe the question to what Aristotle needs to know about them) Or that we cant predict how Daedalus and his son's escape from the king of Crete would be because tarot cant predict the exact future (but we can we can read for what problems they are facing and what to do about them). why so many mental moral gymnastics? and isnt the most moral thing to do answer the querent's question by providing actual useful information?

Ricklef also used different 3 card spread in each example, assigning different meanings to each position each time, which im not sure i would adopt. i think i still believe that using a handful of set spreads (like the celtic cross) should be able to handle most questions that tarot can answer. making up prompts and positional meanings for different querents feel too subjective to me and run the risk of introducing personal bias.

Nevertheless, always love a book with actual reading examples and reflections and I would definitely pick up on Ricklef's other book of celtic cross reading examples
