バッドエンド目前のヒロインに転生した私、今世では恋愛するつもりがチートな兄が離してくれません!? 2 [Bad End Mokuzen no Heroine ni Tensei shita Watashi, Konse de wa Renai suru Tsumori ga Cheat na Ani ga Hanashite kuremasen!? 2]
Ugh. Getting a BAAAAD feeling about Reinhardt. I get it now, he isn’t her blood brother at all, but not liking how he’s not honest with her. I’m kinda shipping her with Yoshida maybe? Hoping the Prince gets more page time soon. He seems like he would be…interesting.
4, inhaled this one and on to the next, stars!

I can't imagine going to a school that cutthroat/brutal! Story is developing at a steady pace. Not sure when the hooks will developer though. Also I really want to know if her big brother is blood related... If he is there are some concerns needing attention soon...
When I read volume one, I had two main complaints: I thought the step-sister was a cartoonish villain lacking real motivation, and I was worried about the brother-sister relationship. Thankfully, in this volume, the villainous step-sister really doesn’t make an appearance. On top of this, I think the brother-sister relationship is still within the realm of normal.
We see our heroine Reine continue to push through any obstacle that she encounters, and she even makes a few more allies while doing so. I would say the main event in this volume is the ranking test towards the end. In order for Reine to get her happy ending, she needs to rise from her current level of F, to preferably the higher level of S. This is something that I can see happening slowly throughout the volumes, but it certainly isn’t going to happen all at once. This test is conducted rather frequently, so unless something crazy happens, I predict that she’ll meet her goal before graduation!
When it comes to character growth, I don’t think we really saw any from Reine in this volume, but I’m not really complaining. We learnt more about her brother, and about two boys (one new to this volume!) that are most likely love interests. Overall, I have been enjoying watching all of the different characters interact with each other. While there really aren’t any complex characters to be found, I find them to be just charming enough to want to continue following.
The second volume sees Reine working hard for her exams to improve her ranking. She’s being helped by a range of friends, many of whom she hopes will become her love interest. One of them is her brother who is determined to marry her. Still nothing to confirm that he isn’t be her real brother, so the scenes with him are really icky. But she’s still being bullied too. And someone is determined to stop her from succeeding in her exams.
This volume was slightly boring and confusing. There are too many characters who look exactly the same, especially the love interests. I had no idea who was who the entire time. And the progress is a bit too slow, with no character rising above the others and none of them interesting enough to root for Reine’s love interest. No clear enemy rises up either. I’m not entirely sure I’ll continue with this.
NOTE: I got all these 4 volumes through Comics Plus (library app that one of my libraries gives me access to), apparently they aren't out, but they are on the app, so yeah, haha.
Quite a fun manga! Reine is cute! The guys are all fun! Julius is fun but he needs to fucking tell the truth because it gets icky! Great magic! And more!
Review for the first 4 volumes is coming in mid-March on my blog.
On the chalkboard where they list the ranks and their colors the names of the colors are rotated to be upside down. You would of had to hold the book upside-down to read them right side up. That was the main reason I only gave this book 4 stars.
Still hoping that her brother isn't her brother in the end but we have met all potential love interest I think I am continuing to enjoy the story, this one really focused on building relationships and passing her test.
I wondering about whether or not this is going to be one of those sibling forbidden romance stories. As her older brother seems to almost creepy in his affections.
I find it a little bit hard to tell characters apart. Particularly Julius and Arnold and the two glasses guys (obviously not a problem after he lost the glasses). I’m still baffled by the marriage thing, and can only assume that they aren’t really related by blood. Not that it isn’t weird to marry your stepsister either.
There are a lot of clichés in the story, but I liked this volume because people were friendlier and it introduces some interesting characters.
