I just might become a devil worshiper 😈
I am not usually a fan of Mafia romances, I tend to find they all follow the same formula. But Contracted to the Devil, broke the mold. I absolutely LOVED Luck, he is so officially my new book boyfriend. Bella was amazing, sometimes strong female characters can come off a little over the top, not Bella she was absolutely perfect. This book had everything I need: love, heat, mystery, violence, suspense, at one point I found myself so emotionally involved that I wanted to scream and throw my Kindle in rage. I will not give any spoilers and when you read this story you will absolutely understand why I felt like destroying my precious Kindle. I can't wait for the next book!

First things first - Dahlia is a new author to me, but definitely about to become one of my favourites. Contracted to the Devil was one of my favourite reads this year.
The story in Dahlia’s novel is definitely different to all other mafia romance novels and I find it one of the biggest advantages. But, what’s the most important is the fact that there is a story and not only sex.
Lucky Agostino is the big boss who is, as expected, scary, but he also is very caring and respectful towards Bella and his soldiers. As for Bella, I didn’t really like her at the very beginning because she was so childish and annoying, but with the time, I started to really enjoy her.
Concluding, the story is a very good one. Lots of interesting characters, steamy scenes and unexpected events and sometimes even laughter. If you love mafia and dark romance, stories with great stories and not just senseless sex, then this story is a must read. I cannot wait for the next story to come!

I don’t do story recaps, read the blurb guys - that’s why the author wrote one. Then use the reviews to see what others think.
You get a lot of bang for your buck - nice to pick up a story that gives us more, no measly couple of hundred pages here. There are characters galore in this story, and tales of love both old and new to enchant. And blood and gore aside - this really is a story of romance. I love that Lucky and Bella know from the start, no ‘will they won’t they’ dragged out over too many pages. The story is more about how Lucky is going to deal with the douches that are Bella’s male family members while maintaining his power over the city and keeping his beloved family and Bella safe.
Bella Bella Bella. She is tough as old boots. I didn’t really see that coming at the beginning - I guess all that time cloistered away to be educated, pure and the best wife she could be gave her plenty of dreams of what SHE wanted to be. She’s as lucky as her namesake beau to be promised to a family that love, respect and embrace her brains and strength. And the mean streak she develops truly will rival Lucky, together a force to be reckoned with.
Unusually for the Erotic lit genre there seemed to be a lot of story, and maybe a little less sex than the usual. But what there is, was pretty hot and leaving us begging for more.
I can’t wait for more in the series, to see the other characters come to the forefront and tell us their story. Feeling somewhat certain our next instalment will be the ultra loyal but worryingly defective Apollo. We all love a hea, and we deserve to sit back with a bag of popcorn to watch Apollo get his.
Best line of the book goes to Bella - ‘He showed me who he truly was inside - my perfect fairytale king. Albeit, a tad rough around the ages and occasionally covered in brain matter’. What a Queen!

Dahlia is a new author for me, so i started this book very cautiously, you see I absolutely love dark Mafia Romance but very few authors do it well! Dahlia however is one of those authors who does! You can tell the time has been taken to research, to understand and develop the characters, everything felt so real! Yes its dark, yes there is violence, yes its full of suspense and angst, yes it has amazing sex scenes and yes they are sizzling hot, there are even a few scenes that make you laugh out loud.......this book has it all!! Dahlia doesn't hold back on any of it, which i love!!

The MFC Bella was a little more complex, she started off initially quite weak to me, almost spoilt and very naive but oh my god did her character change and develop very quickly....... turning into the strong Queen Lucky needed by his side! They truly are a power couple! I loved seeing how they both developed as the story progressed.
The overall story itself flowed really well and just hooked you from the very first page, i literally couldn't put it down! The story was complex, detailed and written well! There were so many good characters in this book, i literally can't mention them all but OMG i just love, love, love......Apollo (Lucky's right hand man and best friend!) and i cant wait to read his story! (he just has to have his own book!!!)
If you are a fan of Dark Mafia Romance, and you like complex stories, with violence and suspense, that make you scream at your kindle, laugh out load one minute and steal your breath the next then you need to read this book!!

A beautiful story
Dahlia is a new author to me and contracted to the devil was recommended to me.
I was not disappointed, a dark mafia romance with twists and tails, explsive scenes, violence and spice all the way through.
Lucky is the alpha male mafia leader who meets bella and the rest plays out in a great love story.
Bella as the female lead character shes a proper bad ass QUEEN.
Recommended to mafia romance lovers.
Not as dark as my usual read but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Cant wait to read more books by Dahlia.

Dark Mafia Romance with a HEA. The author thankfully did not end us on a cliffhanger but left the reader intrigued enough to want to know what happens with the rest of the characters. The story was dark and violent as expected with a mafia story, however, none of this violence was between the couple themselves. Their conflicts came from outside forces. A great read for those who love darker, violent themes but also want an actual love story. So much was revealed at the end but at the same time there are so many more questions left to answer with the next installment. Lastly, there is also mention of more than one strong female characters. The author emphasizes that girls can be soft, vulnerable, strong, conflicted, fierce and brutal all at once.

Okay... So where do I start?
It was difficult to get out of Cora Reilly's bubble after reading her mafia romances. But this book not only poked the bubble but pierced it and let it burst out pulling me into a fresh bubble of Dahlia's Mafia Romances.
"Five years ago, he looked down at me and all the bad in the world melted away in that moment... The moment his cold eyes heated with lust... And the same moment he got lost in the stark contrast of mine. I felt special. I felt loved."
A great read. The wonderful storyline with an insight into the mafia world made it even better. I love a strong female protagonist but to find it in a Mafia Romance was awesome. The author has done a wonderful job by including women in action, unlike other mafia romances I have read.

Loved this Mafia love story!
This was my first book by Dahlia Reign. Although this could do with another round of proofreading, it in no way detracts from the story, which is very good.
Contracted To The Devil is the story of Bella and Lucifer. Unlike other mafia books I've read, Lucifer treats Bella like a queen from the get-go. I loved their relationship - both are bad asses that will go to any length to protect those they love. And I enjoyed seeing their loyalty and possessiveness towards each other. I also loved the HEA and forward looking epilogue - I love getting a glimpse of the character's in the future.
The story is very well written, I was hooked from the beginning, and was very much invested in the characters. There was plenty of action, hot and steamy bedroom scenes, twists and turns and intrigue - which kept me fully invested and turning those pages! I am looking forward to reading more books from this author in the future.

In this dark romance, two war wrought families combine in a contract—promising a young innocent woman to a born killer. These same families have a history of being cutthroat and we learn that love and war go hand in hand. And just like the world she has created the author proves throughout that you can’t believe everything you see.
There was a lot of wordy descriptions, that could have been downsized to allow the reader to use their imagination. Additionally, there was a lot of repeated ‘loyalty’ slogans and pet names that I felt got old after reading it over and over. The attraction between Lucky and Bella was instant, which isn’t a bad thing, but I felt that Bella should have had some more events to mold her into the person she was to become.
This book holds many secrets within its pages. You think one thing is going to happen—then with the quick flick of her wrist Dahlia works her dark magic.

Wow... this book is full of lust, action, and heart stopping drama. From chapter 1 I was completely hooked!

Wow! I have always loved the dark, mysterious books about crime families, passion and revenge. The whole series was intriguing, I couldn’t put the books down! I read thru all 3 in less than a week, letting my other chores sit do I could read.
The author painted such amazing details, I felt, at times, like I was in the middle of the action! I am anxiously awaiting the fourth book due on 7/10!
I am in my later years of life and enjoyed every minute as I read these books.

I liked this book, but how Bella went from a woman who was meek and mild in a way, to this firey badaas woman is not detailed. I do think that her and Lucky were a perfect pair. I love the supporting characters also. Bella is not your typical mafia princess and she needed a strong hand. She got that with Lucky. The one scene when she died was heart breaking. I actually thought she died. Lucky was heart broken as you could expect. All in all it was a good book and I would recommend it.

This book was fantastic. Loved the detail of the story! It wasn't a book were sex was thrown in there just to be in there. When the sex was in there trust me it was hot! I was literally hooked by the first couple of pages. You'll definitely want to add this to your TBR list if you enjoy some dark and steamy romances!

What I liked: The mafia background, the general story, the chemistry in the main characters, and the general darkness.
Some of the dialogue wasn't exactly to my liking and seemed disconnected at places.

This was an author who was recommended by a friend. This being the first book I read by her, I’m impressed.
This story doesn’t have the traditional mafia arranged marriage forced proximity. It’s so much more! I devoured this book. Definitely a 5 star read! Can’t wait to start the next!

Lucky and Bella are perfect together. They complement one another so well and I loved seeing them be sweet for one another. Also, they're both incredibly hawt!

There are a lot of twists and turns that you aren't expecting.
