Excellent read. Very "nice" look into the "greasy, grimy gopher guts" of politics. Great characters who are interesting and dynamic. Plenty of suspense and twists in the plot. Bang Bang ending. Can't wait to get started on the next in the series.
Excellent - loved the historical and Godfather references in it, as well as the thriller plot. Recommend to anyone who loves politics with a yearning to know more about the inner workings of campaigns.
I've discovered that I unfortunatley have no interest in political fiction. Should have paid more attention prior to selecting this novel --- it was on my list of recommended reads.
