I love a short book that gets to the point and this was it
Garborg also put the main points in the first few chapters which made my mind very happy
Overall, great book where I started applying the principle in the book of blessing my daughter every night and saw a peacefulness in her attitude come from the process

Since I read this book one year ago my life as a parent was transformed, I enjoy every blessing my children every evening, this also has has provided an opportunity to fellowship one on one with each.i am a father of 3 daughters and one boy.

This book is the reason that we started instituting a "family blessing/prayer" for our children each night. They enjoy the special prayer time with mom or dad and it opens them up to share what they are feeling/how their day was. It also forces us to not stay angry/frustrated at them when it's been a long/hard day with them and make our relationship right through blessing and prayer.

My husband and I read this when when our first child was just a baby. Soon afterwords we put the nightly blessing into practice and all our children grew up with it, even asking for it when we chanced to forget.
