Another good volume in the series.
I know it took a little longer for me to read this one (I read the chapters online, so it's not like sitting with an actual book). But I flip between reading this and reading various other series, for a number of reasons. The main reason is life doesn't always allow me to read on my computer (my phone's screen is a bit too tiny to read manga comfortably). The other big factor is that this series really walks you through everything - they repeat themselves and state outright what is going on. It's impossible to get confused.
Don't get me wrong, having something really quick and easy to read is great, and I love this series, but I get bored with it after sitting and reading several volumes in a row. So I go and look for other series.
This volume was interesting in seeing how easily the Shikon no Tama is easily corrupted and purified by whoever is holding it, or in the general area. The other thing I thought was really interesting about this volume is Kikyo's threats to the dark miko and her acknowledgement that Kagome is as powerful as she is.
Well, I'll probably read a few more chapters tonight. On to it~
