Three Fates. Three Sisters.

When a will from her dead father decrees Chloe into the protection of the renowned vampire commander, Tyrian en Kulev, she does what any woman would do—and casts a spell. Things get worse for Chloe when the spell she and her sisters perform summons an ancient demon from deep within the earth. Now she's being hunted by a demon set on killing her and must live at the aptly named Castle Death with the king of cold, Tyrian. Surprisingly, Chloe finds that she doesn’t mind her new Protector so much. His cold, impassionate nature needs a firm push to show his true colors, and Chloe thinks she’s just the one to do it.

Tyrian en Kulev always pays his debts. When Francis Bellum dies and orders Tyrian to act as his eldest daughter’s Protector, Tyrian resigns himself to the position. What should have been a simple deal--keep her in the castle, protect her--has turned difficult. Chloe comes to him with a demon trying to kill her and a sexy attitude that keeps invading his thoughts everywhere he goes. The little succubus easily grabs hold of the heart he’d kept locked away for so long and makes him feel once again. But can they defeat the demon that haunts her and can Tyrian overcome his past and move on to a new future with Chloe?

Commander Tyrian (Brooding Alpha Vampire)

description

So you can just imagine the shock Tyrian felt when his friend of a thousand years up and died and left him something in his will. Tyrian is an 1100 year old vampire warrior. But not just any warrior. He commands all vampire warriors and monitors the rift that leads to the Demon realm. They fight to keep demons from entering earth. So Tyrian is not just surprised, but pissed, when his friend names him to be the Protector, and Mate of his succubus daughter Chloe.

Chloe (Hot Succubus)
Chloe

On their 29th birthday, succubus mature sexually, and no longer need food to survive, just sex….Daily Hehehe

Chloe was raised by her dad to be a strong independent woman. So she is at a loss trying to understand why her papa has left her to Tyrian, like a piece of property. Not only does she not know the guy, she is about to turn 29 and he is refusing to service her…which could be a death sentence for a succubus.

passion

Tyrian has a host of hot warriors that would be happy to pleasure Chloe…so why does the thought of another man touching her make him want to destroy something!!!

This book was action packed and full of adventure. There are fight scenes with evil demons, And hot love scenes that will make you wanna hump something. There was also an additional love story that bloomed, so I got two romances for the price of one.

The first book of this series is free, so if you love paranormal romances with a creative spin, I strongly suggest that you try it out and give it a chance.

At first I thought this was going to be a winner for me.
Three sisters are promised to three different powerful men on their 29th birthday per their fathers wishes after his death. The sisters cast a spell hoping that their protectors won't be able to get to them. Instead they free an ugly demon from the depths of hell that is after one of them. On the night before their birthday they run. One is being stalked by the most powerful werewolf around. The other has been kidnapped by the most powerful vampire around. The other is a year younger. Sounds good right? I was thinking yes I found a good one! Well....
Then it turned stupid for me. On the sisters 29 birthday they transform into whatever they are (I can't remember) and need sex to survive. So on the night of the full moon we have Chloe naked and thrashing around on the floor needing some dick. Then we have Tyrian the vampire who doesn't have time for a women. But you know how it goes he gives in and has sex with her. But he doesn't get off. I'm sure there is a story there but I can't make myself read any more pages about her needing sex all the time and him not wanting anything to do with her but yet will have sex with her again I'm sure. It's a wrap at 30%:((

"I command that on the day of your birthday you will be delivered to Commander Tyrian en Kulev, Leader of the Atal Warriors, Champion of the Vampires and Protector of Humanity, to be Protected by, to facilitate a relationship with, and to mate and breed with."

After the death of their father, Chloe, Willow and Lily all receive his final gift; the names of their Protectors, the succubus’ chosen male, who would care for their every need. On the 29th birthday of a Succubus, they reach their sexual maturity and trade food & water for sexual acts, making it the only way to survive and as a Protector; they are bound to feed the need of their Succubus.

Only the three sisters were raised to be independent women, completely outside the normal Succubus standards and don’t react well to the news of having to turn to a man whom they never met for something so intimate. In order to put off the claiming, they conjured up a spell to keep their Protectors from ever finding them, but what they didn’t know was that the sacred grounds they were on and the ancient language they chanted was actually a spell to release a powerful Demon Karr from the rift below.
___________________________________________

Chains of Frost is Chloe’s book, being the eldest daughter and the first to chant the casting spell; she is who the Demon Karr is after. Although Chloe is the eldest of the sisters, she find herself wishing she had the strength of Willow, or have the spunky fun loving glow of Lily, all she has are her gut feelings. But there is something about her Protector that makes her rise up to the challenge and Chloe can't think of anything better than coming up with ways she can melt his steely heart.

Perhaps this vampire commander was not so cold. Maybe he just needed to be warmed up and she had just the heat to do it.

Tyrian, is baffled as to why he was chosen to be the protector of Francis Bellum’s oldest daughter, he owes the man for saving his life during the Great War but he never expected that Chloe would be the payment. Tyrian is over 1000 years old, and has lived a secluded life of a Vampire Warrior, steeling his heart from feeling anything but justice and responsibility for his army of warriors.

“Scars are a sign of your strength and courage, the pain that you’ve endured. It’s made you stronger which, at least in my eyes, makes me want to kiss you silly.”

The moment he sees Chloe, he quickly dismisses her, vowing to protect her as her father requested but orders her to find another man in his castle to feed her needs. His icy demeanor has the opposite effect on Chloe, making him wonder about her sanity, but each passing moment she is crawling farther under his skin.
“There are some men who make a woman wonder how good he is in bed. Some men are so sexy they make a woman wild. And then there are men who are so wrapped up in their work they can’t see what’s good for them. You are all of the above, Tyrian.”

When her new moon hits and her need for feeding is at its greatest, she refuses to take another man besides Tyrian. As much as he wants to keep himself out of it, there is no denying that this little succubus is becoming to mean more to him than he ever expected. Knowing there is a Demon out there wanting to kill Chloe, he won’t stop at nothing to try and protect her, even calling upon old debts.

___________________________________________

Chains of Frost is a story I truly enjoyed, you really can’t go wrong when you throw in an independent-take-no-bullshit heroine, an icy-alpha-vampire-commander, crazy sisters, hot sex and a little action & suspense. Chloe and Tyrian are complete opposites, but Chloe’s crazy antics had the big guy’s wall crashing down. I always enjoy a big alpha man deny his true feelings, it always makes the realization just a tad bit sweeter.

In this Lily meet’s her Protector, we get to know the secondary characters; Willow, Lyonis, Henry, Nanu, Draven, Lucinda and Rayn, perfectly setting up some later story lines that we will encounter.

Intertwined in this story are two other stories told in a much smaller scale; the first is the beginning of Willow and Lyonis and the chase she sends him on, hell bent on ever letting a man catch her, claim her and dominate her
“I warn you not to run from the beast, for the beast will only chase you, thrilled by the hunt of such a perfect prey. ”

and the second story is about Henry and Nanu, the half breed vampire-demon warrior and the Atal healer.
“I’d do more than fight for you, but I won’t fuck you and leave it at that. I can’t. I want you, the whole you”

Their stories didn’t take away from Chloe and Tyrian’s, only added to the overall series, their stories were far less complicated but no less exciting.

The Sisters of Bellum is a perfect read for anyone who loves a good paranormal book, with Vampires, Shape-shifters, Demons, Succubus’ and Witches, it had a little bit of everything. I am writing this review, after I completed the entire series, I couldn’t or rather didn’t want to stop reading. The author takes the time to explain her world and allow you to live in it, making you believe that in a world like today they are all living amongst us.

*Thanks to Sammy, for giving me the push I needed to finally read this book, it was sitting in my kindle just waiting for me to read it :)

I was pretty disappointed in the way this book was written.
It was an interesting (if a tad unoriginal) premise for the PNR genre: Three sisters are, after their father's sudden death, bestowed upon three men whom they have not met before.
That's pretty much a classic storyline. Chick meets the guy she presumes is evil, dangerous and so on, she falls in lust, they have sex = love.
I know the drill.
And I don't mind the simplicity of the genre, or I wouldn't be reading any of it.

So what was wrong with this book? It's not very easy to put my finger on it because I would say the problem is a mix of underdevelloped characters and underwritten story.
The book, although it was fairly short (I would guess around 200 pages) had multiple POV. That's normal for PNR, but then, PNR books are usually thicker.
In Chains of Frost, the main characters basically lost the spotlight to an array of side characters who appealed to me more.
I found the characters (Tyrian and Chloe in particular) to be extremely shallow. They were so shallow, actually, that I wanted to throttle them a few times.
Chloe hated Tyrian so much in the beginning that she put a curse on him (dumb as she is, the curse back-fired and landed her in a lot of trouble), and then she falls into instalove and doesn't cease to brag about how she got laid by a vampire warrior.
Good for you, Chloe. I just don't care.

OOH! So good O.o

First of all, I discovered T.A Grey on Facebook, via Brynn Myers website. I didn't know about T.A before and I didn't know about her Bellum Sisters series. The first book: I liked the cover (cover whore as I am...) and I decided to read the blurb: oh la la! I instantly click and bought the book.
Second, I wasn't disappointed by my purchase! I used to take only ''free'' eBook on Amazon, (since I don't have a Kindle) because it took me forever to read on my computer. Chains of Frost was the exception, I think I read this book in 2 or 3 days (due to my freaking work week!) and as soon as I putting it aside, I wanted to get it back and continue to read. T.A Grey has one of the best ideas: 3 sisters are bonded by the last wish of their decease father, each sister will be bind to a definite male protector, to submit, mate and breed with. Mmmm (ok super big smile on my face right now because I know it will be awesome!)

The first sister, Chloe, is bonded to THE vampire commander: Tyrian en Kulev. Probably the most unpredictable, harsh, unkind, mysterious, deadly vampire on earth, but also the sexiest, darkest, strongest of all vampires! Thanks you Ms. Grey, for writing such a great story! I love everything and appreciated the intrusions of both Willow and Lily's part of story. The plot isn't something I never read about but I must admit that the testament part was delightful!

I don't want to tell you too much, but I enjoyed every part of this story: the characters are crazy in their own way, especially Willow with her independence, temper and hit and run kind of personality. I already fell for the sweet Lily and her beautiful naivety and frolicsome! Chloe seems to be the most down to earth but still young at heart and when she wants something, she's getting it!

Of course, each alpha male were also a dream come true for me! Tyrian was the troubled, dark and yummy vampire that I always seeking! Vampires are my weakness so I was happy to read Chloe and Tyrian's story, but now I'm eager to see what happen to Willow and Lily! If you're a PNR lovers, you'll find your match with this series: vampire, shape shifter, demon, succubus, black magic! You want something; you'll find it in this book!

I totally recommend this book/series, I'm a new fan of Ms. Grey and I'm pretty sure that if you try her work you will love her too! T.A. Grey is an author to keep an open eye on!!!

Alternative Title? A Confusing Tale of Sex and Frustration

Chloe: Is this woman really 29 years old?
Tyrian: An emotionally stunted fool
Henry & Nanu: A random ass second couple whose romance added absolutely nothing to the plot
Willow & Lyonis: I thought the second book was all about them but turns out their relationship (if you can call it that) starts in this book. Lyonis seems like a crazy alpha with consent issues, so I'm gonna skip their book altogether

This book in general: Romance/Exotica + Fantasy Lite + Plot Lite

“There are some men who make a woman wonder how good he is in bed. Some men are so sexy they make a woman wild. And then there are men who are so wrapped up in their work they can’t see what’s good for them. You are all of the above, Tyrian.”

This book was surprisingly good. I actually thought this would suck, or at least boring. But you got hot, steamy, wild sex and some awesome characters. You got like 4 different pov's, which again, i thought would be too much but boy was i wrong. Though the book was better than i thought, there was still some thing that i did dislike, which led to only 4/3 stars.
1: The sisters where more dominating then the males, which i did not take kindly. I like my men sexy, dominating and completely alpha. Tyrian did to some point became what i wanted, then he let Chloe dominate/decide. The one male who seems the most dominating would be the Alpha Lyonis Keelan of the shapeshifters. It will be interesting to see if he continues that way when he captures Willow. The demon Telal, we didn't get to see much of, but he just seemed stiff. He, i believe, will definitely let himself get dominated by Lily..
2: Though the Bellum's father thought them to be independent, strong women, they seems too.. I don't know, to dominating, considering that they are given to complete strange males who have quite a reputation.
Other then that, the book was awesome, and will definitely continue reading this series. I do recommend it, btw!

Rate: 4/3 Stars.

Chains of Frost (Book 1 of the Bellum Sisters Series)
by T.A. Grey

Let me begin by saying this: I had never read a paranormal erotica romance before. I have read several different books in the separate genre, but never one where all three genres come together. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

The book began with three sisters reading their father’s last will and testament after he was killed in a war between demons, vampires, and shapeshifters. They were raised by their father to be strong, independant women and were taught not to depend on men. When they read that their father has given them to three of the strongest entities on the earth, they were all shocked and upset. On their 29th birthday (which was literally hours away for the twins) their respective new “owners” and “protectors” were supposed to come collect them. Not liking the idea, they ran. They went to the prime meridian on Halloween, which was rumored to be the most magical time and place on earth, to cast a spell to ward the three men off. Instead of warding them off, they summon a power hungry demon that tries to kill them.

The first twin, Chloe, dutifully goes to her new “owner” when her birthday finally comes. Her twin, Willow, however, decides to elude her new “owner” and goes on the run. Slowly, Chloe warms the heart of Tyrian, her new “owner”, and gets to know him better. She falls in love with him almost instantly. Throughout the book, she is repeatedly hurt by his coldness, but is patient with him until he reciprocates her love.

While Willow is on the run, she meets her new “owner” who is a shapeshifter and loves a competition. Repeatedly, she has a short conversation with him, then goes on the run again. He tells her that he could love her and protect her like he should, but she does not like the idea of being owned. So despite already having deep feelings for him, she runs some more.

While reading this book, I was more than frustrated with the situation that Chloe and her sisters were in. I could relate to them because my parents brought me up to be a strong, independant woman like their father brought them up that way. I could not imagine being left to a man to pay off a debt my parents had; let alone a man who was as cold as ice. I was definitely impatient with Chloe’s new “owner” and with every turn of the page, wished for him to melt just enough to let her inside. Before this book, I had never read any of T.A. Grey’s work. I have to say this author is AMAZING! I give this book an A on the Nerd Alert Book Love Review Scale!

I'd say I half loved half diliked Chains in frost, though I will be buying the second in the series so I can make up a more definitive conclusion.
Succubus great, vampires, shifters and demons even god damn better.
The components of chains of frost were excellent, the plot it's self, though rather silly in places, was engaging and enjoyable.
The execution of the story was ok. For starters I knew this was erotica, I was well prepared for lots of sexy time. I wasn't however prepared for nearly half the story to be taken up with sex, I'm not old fashioned at all I love paranormal erotica, it was just a little overwhelming. which caused some of the scenes to kind of blend into the next. It was a disappointment because T.A. Grey can really write some steamy scenes.
I also haven't read many books with so many sub plots or rather sub-relationships but I quiet liked most of the secondary characters. especially willows soon to be shifter protector. There were a few typos and could have done with some proper editing though this didn't interfere too greatly with the actual reading of the book.
I'd recommend giving this a read if you enjoy lots (and I mean lots) of sexy time but still enjoy a paranormal plot, because there is a story line here (just about) which is slightly refreshing in places, not an easy thing to do in this genre.

Ok I'm currently on T.A Grey splurge. I found her books a few days ago, and this is the first review I'm writing for her even though it's like the 8th book I've read from her many number of books.

I've really been enjoying her style of writing for these paranormal books.

I was skeptical about starting this series because ( I know this may seem shallow ) her title just sounds really cheesy.

I thought it would have been something like young adult. Really immature heroines. unnecessary love triangles.

What I got was something else. I got sexy alpha male, funny and strong heroine, and more sexy guys who do not all fight for the heroine just because she's attractive.

I will 100% be continuing this series !!!

*FAN AND FAN AGAIN*

Great read. The Bellium Sisters have just recieved their dads will in the mail. In his will he has giving each girl away to a different man. They are all shocked that he would do this to them. Especially since he always believed that a person should be with someone b/c of love. Most of their kind do arrangements b/c they believed that their dad was different.

Chloe and Willow are twins and have just turned 29. Lily is their sister and she is 1 year younger than them. As a succubus, they hit sexually maturity at the age of 29. When the first full moon comes out they will have to feed a different way. B/c of what they are they have to have sex as their source of food.

So the girls come up with a plan to rid themselves of the men that they were willed to.

HAVE TO LEAVE WORK! WILL FINISH LATER

This was a reread for me. I first read this series in 2016 and just saw the first book was free, so I got the whole series on my kindle. I honestly wasn’t sure I was going to love it as much since it’s been 7 years, but I was wrong!

I seriously loved that book. Great storyline, nothing too complex, but entertaining and fun, great and interesting characters, super steamy—which I’m all for—and I love the little romance we got on the side for a secondary character.

I really really enjoy TA Grey’s writing style, it flows and makes for an easy read. All in all, if you love sexy paranormal romance with a strong, determined and funny heroine, and a broody, mysterious and intense hero, you will love this!

"Chains of Forest" is the first story in the Bellum sister series, and the story of Chloe and Tyrian.

Chloe, Willow and Lily are three succubi sisters, who are close. When their father unexpectedly die, they discover he has handed all three to separate men- to become their protectors. Shocked, as to how the father who taught them never to bow to a man- handed them over to three strangers- they come up with a plan to summon a protection spell, which goes horribly wrong as it ends up unleashing the worst of the worst, the idummi demon.

The story has many characters having back and forth, but mainly concentrates on the main couple of this book. While Tyrian pushes Chloe away throughout the book, she relentlessly pursues and seduces him.

On the other hand we have the forbidden love story of his guard Henry, and his healer Nanu; Chloe's twin Willow who is being pursued by her protector, the alpha Lyonis; and Lily, meeting with her demon protector Telal..and possibly Lucinda, the blood slave or frimar and Draven, the guard.

It was annoying to read literally Chloe begging the hero every time, him sexing and then pushing her away.

Also, sometimes the characters are in a castle, the next moment on a train/ elevator (the time and location jumps did not make much sense to me as we constantly switched between characters).
Ok, so I'm not a huge fan of heroines pursuing the hero- but seriously though- he literally pushed her away, kept telling her to sleep with other guys, and it took her dying from starvation (because succubi in here need sex after the 29th birthday to survive) and kissing another soldier to get his ass to even accept her- then an attack to confess his feelings.

There are numerous sex scenes involving 3 of the couples, moderately hot.

Overall, this was good at the start, then dwindled for me midway and I got frustrated.

Safe with exceptions

I didn’t really know what to expect from this book. I’m glad to say that this was a good, hot paranormal erotica. There was enough of everything, sex, romance, drama, and action to make this a nice read. Considering the elements involved, a trio of sisters, the Bellum sisters, who are succubi who needs to have sex at least once a day to survive and have been given to three of the most powerful males in the paranormal world by their deceased father for protection, the book could have gone over to the sleazy side. Fortunately, the writing was well done, the Bellum sisters were strong willed heroines and there was romance mixed in with the steamy sex scenes.

It was nice seeing the Bellum sisters, Chloe (the oldest), Willow, and Lily (youngest), not conforming to a cliché version of what a succubus would be. They each have their unique personality traits without being the typical seductress. I like the twist involving the desire to be independent females in a world where female succubi are usually under the rule of a patriarch. Although at times, this “girl power” attitude can be a little too much. However, it’s more directed towards Willow whereas the other sisters aren’t as in your face about it.

I enjoyed how this book manages to incorporate other characters besides the leading characters. Even though this first book in the series is about Chloe and her chosen Protector, the vampire commander of the Atal Warriors Tyrian en Kulev, and their relationship, other characters’ stories are told. The book also has the side story of one of Tyrien’s generals Henry and his feelings for the group’s medic Nanu. You read about Willow’s meeting with her own Protector, Alpha Lyonis Keelan and her attempt at running from him. And Lily also makes her appearance and sets up things between her and her own Protector the demon Telal Demuzi. So for the first book, it does a very good job of telling the main story, but also setting up the foundation for the other characters and their own stories.

I would’ve liked the book to have given me a clearer picture of what exactly are the specific traits of the vampires in the world in this series. In paranormal books, there are usually some variations on the vampire lore and I didn’t really understand what Telal and the vampires are and their abilities. I just felt that detail was glossed over and I didn’t get enough information.

Overall, this was a nice surprise for me. I don’t read a lot of erotic paranormal books, so I’m glad I managed to find this free book that I enjoyed. The book gives you the best of both worlds: sex and story. It had engaging characters and kept you entertained. I thought Chloe may have fallen for Talel a little quick for my taste, but it didn’t take away from the story. It was a good introduction to a series and I wouldn’t mind picking up the other books dealing with the Bellum sisters.

I was in HEAVEN while I read this story. Complete heaven. I haven't been reading too much paranormal romance lately just one here and their. PR is my first love. So coming back and reading this felt like home. I don't have one complaint while I was reading this. Their was NEVER a boring time in this. It started at a great pace and just kept on picking up speed the further you got into the story.

This book had soo much going on. But even with soo much going on it was easy to keep up with it. This is the story about 3 Succubus sisters Chloe, Willow and Lily. The book starts with Chloe reading a legal document from her fathers estate lawyer leaving her a house and giving her to a Vampire Warrior as her Protector. The other two sisters get the same type of letter and then all types of chaos ensues. This book had me laughing out loud at times, at other times at the edge of my seat and at others fanning myself with the hotter than hell sex scenes.

The Main, main story is about Chloe and Tyrian. Tyrian is the Vampire Commander of the Atal Warriors. These warriors are the best in the world and are charged with keeping the Demons at bay and protecting humankind. But at the same time we have a side story going on with Willow and her Protector Alpha Shifter Lyonis. He is the ruler of ALL shifter of the world. Then we have a Warrior by the name of Henry who is got a side thing going on with the Warrior's Healer Nanu.

Yes that is a lot of Romance in the air. Though not to be left out is Lily who meets her Protector who she will get in a few months when she turns 29. Who is her Protector a Demon. LOL. It was a laugh out loud moment. I think at that moment Lily became one of my favorites in this book.

From their you got a whole lot of life and death situations, love, hate, denial, chases, heartache, some good laughs and some really hot sex scenes.

I just finished looking up this series before I started this review and come to find out that their are 3!!! 3 more book in this series that is already out!!! They will be on my to-get-list!! Because I seriously have to know what happens with Willow and her Protector and Lily and her Demon. Willow and Lyonis were given enough time in this book to give you a prelude to what their book might contain. And it was enough to have me hooked and dying to know more. Lily and her Demon made less of a showing but the showing that they had was funny as all get out. I can't wait to read their story either.

I would highly recommend to any and all who read this review and loves paranormal romance.

How do I write a review of this book, maybe I should point out that this genre is not my normal preference as I am more of a Urban Fantasy or PNR kind of girl. I was intrigued by the plot and the story of the three Succubi who were being gifted on their 29th Birthday to Alpha male type men. After the death of their father the three women all received letters advising them that they had new protectors who would look after them. This story mainly deals with the eldest daughter Chloe who was given to the Vampire Warrior Ty, a controlling domineering man who has no room in his life for emotions or feelings and looking after a succubus is not an appealing proposition. After awakening a demon by a spell gone wrong, the sisters have to find a way to stop the demon who has imprinted on Chloe and seeks to destroy her. Good supporting characters and a few battle scenes with lots of steamy sex not that it is gratuitous but there is lots of it. Whilst it does not distract too much from the story, I would have liked more action scenes but the author kept my interest till the end. Does Chloe get her happily ever after and does the cold and unfeeling Ty fall for her succubus charms, time will tell.

This book nearly got a three star review from me. Probably would have if I hadn't been tempted to toss my Kindle in the trash after getting to the major sin 46% the way through the book. At first, it was the typical fluff I like in my romances: not realistic and with a guy who is hot but still acts like an ass. If I recall, for some reason this came up under BBW romances, and it didn't have that in there. "Slightly not skinny" is not the same thing as BBW, so I have no idea why it was placed there.

Anyway, up until the 46% mark, I was enjoying myself. Then it happened. The taking of Willow. Oh, I'm sorry, the RAPE of Willow. And with that, I deleted the book. I don't care if it's a romance, I don't care if they'll be in love afterward, I don't like rape. And when the female character is saying "No" several times and the male is all asshole-ish and "Your words say no but your body says yes" (seriously, that was in there!) then I stop reading. I will never understand why anyone would think rape is sexy, but it ruined the whole book for me.

I will not read another book by TA Grey after that. Which is sad, since up to that point I was enjoying myself.

Paranormal Erotica. You've been warned.

TA Grey finally found her writing stride! The Kategan Alphas were enjoyable- but mostly for the straight up smut. Here, she's really fleshed out her writing ability and these are interesting, semi-plot driven paranormal erotica.

The 3 Bellum Sisters are Succubi. On their 29th birthday, they no longer have to eat. They will survive on sex alone. It's an interesting premise (allowing for plenty of erotic happenings) as this story follows Chloe Bellum as she arrives at the home of her protect, Tyrian. She didn't really want to be there, so she and her sisters (Willow and Lily) called a spell-- and screwed it up. Big time. Then the moon decides it's time for her to become a full succubus and... well.

It's a fun a read. Give it a try.

I was introduced to this Author thru the "Kategan Alphas Series" (which I Highly recommend BTW) and I have not looked back since. Awesome Author who has solidly landed on My Favs List!! The Bellum Sisters is just as good. Incredible Female leads and Hot HOTT Heros with Heart-Stoping action & Pulse-Pounding Love scenes made this book VERY hard to put down. You do not want to miss out on this series!!

★ ★ ★ – Finished, and found it okay, but with room for improvement.

Chloe Bellum's life is one big mess. Literally.

She’s a succubus, who is nearing her 29th birthday. In the supernatural world, this means that on the first New Moon after her birthday, she will have to survive on… well… sex.

Now, that in itself probably wouldn’t be a problem. It is modern times; a young woman can be frisky if she wants. But, what she hadn’t accounted for was that her father had handed ownership over her to a complete stranger. And vampire war lord.

In order to escape this archaic fate, she and her sisters accidentally summons a super bad demon. Woops.

Furthermore, her incredible hot, vampire lover/owner Tyrian doesn’t exactly seem pleased about the whole ordeal either. In fact, he’s only interested in keeping her out of harm’s way. All that sex stuff? He offers up his warriors as a solution.

- I have some very mixed feelings about this book.

On one side, I loved the plot and the simple world where supernatural beings live among us.

On the other side, it could benefit from some tightening up.

Despite everything, there were a lot of things I enjoyed in this book.

- The Main Characters Chloe and Tyrian, I found their connection pretty believable. They’re thrown together in this out-of-nowhere situation, where they find out that her deceased father expects them to shag it up. As if that wasn’t weird enough, they both have no proper time to get to know each other, or think if they’re even ready to have a sexual relation with anyone.

I enjoyed that part a lot. Their resistance seemed like a very natural response to me. Yet, the author also manages to deal with the whole sexual need without making the plot development suffer from it.

It’s an erotic read, and if you don’t like mature content, this book definitely isn’t for you. Sex happens. A lot. Which makes sense, considering that as a succubus, she needs the sex like us mere mortals need food.

There are, however, also some things that I personally would have preferred were different.

- I didn’t care much for the side stories at all. Sure, it’s nice to know that they’re all getting some, and it sets up for a perfect little world where everyone is paired with their ideal mate—but I just didn’t care about the other. I wanted to know more about Chloe and Tyrian. I wanted to know more about their past, their families, their scars, their sorrows and their joys. I wasn’t particularly interested in whether the resident healer found together with her vampire warrior or not.

And even though it could be totally relevant, it just seemed like it was made up of numerous shorter stories rather than one complete work. Chloe barely noticed the other people around her. Which, admittedly, who can blame her when the super sexy vampire lover is in proximity?

Yet, some relationship between the characters would have made the side stories that much more interesting. If Chloe cared if they got together, I would care.

- Chloe’s sisters, I didn’t particularly like them a lot. One was an incredible brat, and the other had a very dysfunctional relationship with her new owner. I know it was probably meant to be hot, but I just didn’t feel it. Hence why I probably won’t be reading on in the series, despite how much I actually enjoyed this book.

All in all… an enjoyable read—recommended for people who likes paranormal erotic romance.

Browsing Amazon when i came across this lovely free gem! I didn't know what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised!

This book tells the story of three 21st century (slightly feminist ...is there such a thing?) sister’s all of who are Succubus and will grow into their sexual maturity on their 29th birthday. Their father's sudden death and surprise will Shocks the girls into unleashing mayhem and sets in motion unforeseen events like domino's on a bender. The Will states that on their 29th birthday, Chloe (the heroine of this book) and her sisters will be in the protection of (AKA, owned like a chattel from a medieval nightmare) by three scary super possessive supernatural alpha males who will see to their Succubus needs. So, what do these modern sassy girls say to that?

.... HELL TO THE NO! with added neck twists, heads shakes and snapping of fingers...oh yeah, you go girls! Hahahah

It has all the elements I like in PNR books: Feisty women, Three close sisters who are determined to get away from these deluded men and get their way, and failing that, then get their individual man how they want him, when and where so all bets are off! These girls take no prisoners! By fair or foul means including spells gone awry, these girls are in it to win it.

This is Chloe and her protector's story, the powerful and all commanding vampire king who likes order and discipline and control….translation...no emotional entanglements and definitely no sexy time! ahhh, poor vamp, he doesn't know he'll soon be hit by a hurricane named Chloe who'll shake n bake his world as soon as she land's on his rug with a dart in her arse? I forget.

In the meantime, we get to glimpse how the other two sisters are getting on and yes it is hilarious. The sisters are different from each other and equally entertaining and they each get their own books!

This book has a lot my favourite elements in PNR books. Supper possessive alpha hero's (Vampire King who takes the British phrase.. stiff upper lip and owns it, An Alpha werewolf who doesn't understand the meaning of no even if it kicks him where the sun don't shine, literally, And a demon lord who soon won't know what hit him...wish i could give him a heads up and tell him to surrender and make it easy on himself but well...it is entertaining to sit back and watch him squirm.

I really enjoyed reading this story and will be reading the other two books in the series.

The concept is interesting: upon their father's death, 3 sisters are given to men their father selected. As they were raised to believe they were more than simply chattel, the 3 sisters decide to cast a spell to maintain their freedom. (They're all succubi, and will still need to find daily sex partners, it will just be with partners of their own choosing. The worldbuilding isn't sufficient enough for me to know how well that will fly with general society.)

Unfortunately, the spell goes awry and they end up calling up a trapped demon who starts hunting Chloe for unknown reasons. (Chloe is the sister mostly featured in this story, though there are multiple POVs so I guess I should say she's the sister who .

That's pretty much the point where everything started to fall apart for me, which is unfortunate since it's only about 10% into the book.

Chloe meets Tyrian, the man chosen for her, and immediately falls into instalust which quickly turns into instalove. And by quickly, I mean so quickly I wondered if I missed a chapter or two. Tyrian, for his part, mostly tries to get her to leave him alone until he suddenly starts acting mad jealous anytime anyone gets near to her, even after he . So, we go from having a heroine who's desperately seeking her independence to a heroine who's bragging that her boyfriend is a badass vampire warrior, and is only desperate to keep his attention. It's a bit disappointing, to say the least.

The writing is generally competent, although the author frequently has unclear pronoun references in multi-clause sentences. (I'm not even particularly sensitive to that, but it confused me on several occasions.) I think she could do with a better story editor too, to give her characters more depth and more internal consistency.

Still, even with the writing problems and even though I pretty much know how the other 2 books in the trilogy are going to go, there was something in here that I enjoyed enough that I'm considering picking them up.

Ty Ty Ty.....if only you were mine!

I've read a few other T.A Grey books and loved them and somehow missed this series. These books are no different, kick ass leading ladies with delicious lead males....Can't wait for Lily's story, think this is going to be huge.

Three sisters. Chloe, Willow and Lily. Fiercely protective of each other, living free lives, brought up by their father to be able to pick who they choose when they turn 29. Because everything changes when they turn 29 after the new moon. They no longer need food to survive, they need sex....

Two days before Chloe & Willow's birthday, their father dies unexpectedly and in his will leaves instructions that each sister is to be owned by a male. Not just any male, but for Chloe a ice hearted vampire warrior. Enter Tyrian en Kulev. Swoon..

Now, being feisty sisters against being "claimed" by unknown males they do what they think is best. Run off to Europe before the witching hour to cast a spell to keep the males away using spells they cannot pronounce. Enter chaos, demons, warriors, healers and a whole array of drama that keeps you in the thick of it through the entire story. The sisters are funny, the warriors fierce and the passion explodes off the page. Loved every second and so not to spoil the story for you, check out the book yourself. Currently a free read on Amazon.co.uk (At time of writing review)

Great read, onto Willow's book next.
