This manual provides a set of self-contained experiments, with all the material needed to carry out each experiment. The information is arranged so the student can omit making actual measurements, or the student can carry out all the laboratory measurements, in which case the information presented serves as a guide to the experimental procedure which should be followed. Thus it is possible to use this manual as a procedural guide, or one can 'perform' all the experiments without stepping into an actual x-ray laboratory.
