If the truth is to be told, this book doesn’t fall into my usual reads.

The book was handed to me by a relative as a general interest kind of read, as something she thought I might enjoy. It was interesting, I will say that, but I cannot see myself going out of my way to read it again and again or to read that many more books like it.

It was simply something different to pick up and read.

Even though there wasn't much new under the sun, the author did a good summing up of prominent disappearances and delivering possible explanations. Among the mentioned topics are missing diplomats, the lost colony, 9th Roman Legion, Mary Celeste, the lost patrol in the Bermuda Triangle (Flight 19), Earhardt, Glenn Miller, USS Cyclops, Kaspar Hauser. The photo section also was quite captivating. Overall a very solid, can't do wrong read. Really recommended!

This is a fun book that I read from time to time. Some of the classic unsolved mysteries that I love to read about are included: The Mary Celeste, Percy Fawcett, Victor Grayson, the Lost Colony of Roanoke.

"...is an active member of the Society for Physical Research" in the author's bio should have been a tip-off.
