Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers' dismay. All efforts to make her produce "normal" stories failed.
Today, she continues to spin tales of ghosts and demons and werewolves, while safely locked away in her basement writing dungeon. She's the author of the NYT-bestselling "Women of the Otherworld" paranormal suspense series and "Darkest Powers" young adult urban fantasy trilogy, as well as the Nadia Stafford crime series. Armstrong lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, kids and far too many pets.
As a big fan of Kelley Armstrong’s Otherworld universe, I have been meaning to read Kitsunegari for years. It is a story that fills in some of the blanks about one of the main characters in the series, providing that little bit extra to allow them to develop into something more. While it is not vital to understand the universe, it is a nice little bonus for fans of the series. Thus, it makes for perfect easy reading – however, do not go in expecting a deep story, as this does not explore elements as fully as the main books. Nevertheless, it is an enjoyable little extra.
Short story to finish off the Men of the Otherworld about Jeremy and Jaime. From reading the reviews, I assumed this was something to do with Jeremy finding a link to his mother's family, and in a way it kinda was. It was a story about his magical lineage, not familial lineage. Interesting and well done.
Great story, but it felt rushed and I wish it had been a little longer.
This is definitely a book for those who have read the underworld series. I don't think it would have been nearly as enjoyable without the context of the series.
A short story about Jeremy finding out some of his background. He knows he is werewolf but is unsure of what else. Jaime a is in this story as well. It was rather short but covered the necessities.
I read this in "Men of the Otherworld." I love Jeremy/Jaime, so this little story was an A in my book. We also finally find out Jeremy's mysterious background.
Great short story, and we get to learn a bit about Jeremy's maternal heritage, and the lie of that he has a 27 year old son, and how Jamie is a supportive and awesome girlfriend. Loved it!
Good story about how Jeremy found out about his mother's side of his heredity. Could have been more detailed and longer. Read as part of Men of the Otherworld.
A great short story that gives a brief glance into Jeremy and Jamies continuing relationship and Jeremy's heritage. Other than being werewolf Alpha. AWESOME
