Very good information on herbs, not as many herbs as other herbals. If you are just interested in what each herb does there are better herbals including several by the same author

Loads of practical herbal applications. Whether through ingestion, infusion, poltice or tincture... this book teaches you the medicinal properties of hundreds of herbs. Included are color photos of each herb, cautions on when not to take/use the herb, a key code that indicates what ailments each herb is used for, brief histories of several different cultures who used herbs medicinally and self help instructions that teaches you how to store herbs, how to grow your own herbs, what to buy and how to make home remedies via tincture, inhalant, infusions, ointments/infused oils, etc. While I have MANY books on herbs and herbal medicine, this is the one I find myself turning to time and time again.
