I was surprised and delighted at how easy-to-read, yet insightful this book was! The author, Margit Crane, uses her years of experience as a coach for teens and families to make this nonfiction work for teens both profound and teen-friendly. The book is aimed at teens who want to transform their relationships with their parents, but I believe that following her simple six (and a half)-day program would be life-changing for parents as well. Whether you're a teen hoping to improve your relationship with Mom and/or Dad or a parent or teacher struggling to understand a teen, I highly recommend this book.

Fabulous. My boys aren't teens yet, but I'm holding on to this one. What better way to improve my relationship with my kids than to not let it deteriorate in the first place. If it starts to, I've now got the resources to nip it in the bud. Oh, and the 101 conversation starters? Yup, I'm gonna start using that now. Great resource for parents, whether your struggling with your children or just want tools to keep the lines of communication open.
