This is genuinly a life changing book and tought me so much about the life of Joanne D'arc and overall the English/French conflict. It is so captivating and written in a way that immerses you in the world of medieval France and It's occupation. The only 2 "flaws" i could find is that the book is VERY detailed, but I very enjoyed that and the facts Bordonove included were to me at least interesting and didn't make me lose my flow in the story. The latter one is how it takes about 100~ pages of context to actually get to Joanne's story and, even though It was pretty menial to do so, I'm glad I read through the begining beacuse the context of the conflict is very important to understanding the impact of Joanne's actions. Overall, with how much information is packed in these 400 ish pages I'd say this is a very much worthy read If you are interested in the medieval times, the churches history, Joanne of Arc, Frances and Englands power struggles and more. 10/10
