Myst of the Incarnation by Cardinal Basil Hume

Rate this book
In his final book, completed in the last days of his battle with cancer, Cardinal Basil Hume, the late Archbishop of Westminster, reflects on the mystery that is at the center of the Christian faith—God becoming human. The Mystery of the Incarnation is divided into three parts, encompassing topics such as today's quest for meaning, human love and relationships, preparing for death, and rediscovering a sense of mystery. A learned man of international distinction, Cardinal Hume reveals deep spiritual concepts with sensitivity and genuine humility. "One hears the voice of the plain Christian pilgrim rather than that of a `mere' prince of the Church," says Tom Howard, author of On Being Catholic.
