About the author

I was born in Vancouver Canada—this is why half of my books are written in Canadian/British spelling. I moved to New Orleans, LA in 2012 to be with my husband and kids. We have six dogs and eight cats. I have two toddler honorary nephews. And a house full of people.
Life is hectic in the Kinsey household. But we wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am an experienced freelance Ghostwriter, Editor/Proofreader and Graphic Artist. I adore fantasy, paranormal and contemporary stories and art.
As I am a fantasy/paranormal romance author myself. I understand, on a cellular level, what it takes to catch a reader's eye. I have been a published author since 2009, under the pen names Kayden McLeod and Kinsey Knight. I have released over fifteen full length books and short stories. Although, there is only eleven currently in circulation. Over my career, I've touched on almost every step of publishing, from conception, to fruition.
I have marketed my own books, and as well as others'. I have owned a book review company and ran my own marketing firm that catered to both authors and publishers.

In The Interview ~ Master of Subservience ~ Book 1, by Kayden McLeod, author a young woman in a relationship with a new Dom goes to The Interview he arranged with his training program. She discovers new things she wants to try in her training. Her lover is thrilled she has been given the opportunity to enter training and is surprised at her first revelation of one new thing she wants to try.

This is the interview of Bethany to be trained at the mistress' mansion. It was to see if Bethany was suitable for training into the lifestyle. Again this is a very short story but it flowed well and we have some very interesting characters. I enjoyed it.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Kayden McLeod; she has done a great job at writing a good short story; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. This was a very short read and full of emotions, the intensity of an interview that you wait for an answer to the excitement of the playground for adults and the heat to burning desire for more.

The title of the book says it all. This is an extremely short story centered around Bethany and her interview for admission in to a BDSM training program. The author doesn’t hold back or have the characters mincing words, they say what they want to know the answer to. This is one very steamy interview.

This story ended up being very hard for me to rate. Although I very much enjoyed the writing style of Kayden, I think my own personal issues, have made me put off by the mass amount of books coming out where women are these magical ‘switches’. I’m in the lifestyle, trust me, I know it is totally possible. I know women that are, and I admire then for being about to be Dominant with so much ease. However, for some reason, in this situation, it was out of context for me. The scene was set of and made me want more, I was reading, and I was in it, I was getting aroused right along with the lead female. It was a threesome. Oh, I am so in it. Being between two men, albeit one is submissive, but still. TWO MEN! I was purring with delight—bombshell just blows up my finely built parade.

I want to like this whole book! I went into it so excited and thrilled. I just don’t get this need to make so many women these magic switches; to the point where they are topping from the bottom and go from vulnerable and bound to “Get on your knees and obey me!” It is entirely a personal preference. It is just not my cup of tea and I know that. Most people that are keen on this genre will truly enjoy this story and I encourage people that read BDSM for fun to read this. Kayden writes very well, she has an easy flow. I am looking forward to read the second story in this series. I just hope I am not jarred out of my enjoyment.

Quite a decent story, a novelette of around 50 pages, ideal for a lunch break read. This is a story of one, Mistress Clairette's house, where Doms and subs live and train. Bethany, hoping to be accepted and trained as a submissive and her boyfriend Daniel, already a trained Dominant, are romantically involved. He has agreed to her training, both knowing it will be with other people in the house. Daniel has proposed Bethany's entrance knowing he won't be training her. Bethany goes for Interview, during which it has some very erotic scenes with Bethany and Mistress Clairette's senior Dom Keegan and his submissive Luke. Relationships between Daniel and Keegan have past conflicts, but these are only hinted at. This is the first of at least a two part story it is the lead in to The Induction. It gives enough for a reader to want more and is an ideally titillating intro to this story. I considered it for three and four stars and it fits my idea of 3.5 stars. I have bought the next and will review it seperately. English is good and it has been edited.

Can you guys hear that? Is that 80's porn music?
This really was like watching bad porn, not that I watch porn or anything ;)

Honestly I didnt expect much with this book being only about 25+ pages. I just couldnt get the image of a chick ohhh and aaahhing with her fake orgasmic face while being fucked by 2 men. DP is def hot no matter the sucky story, hence the 2 stars.

I didnt see the Dom in Bethany at all, she just wanted to please a man, any man at that. And I get it, she and Daniel have an open relationship but damn it! I wasnt feeling them at all! On top of all that this book was just too cheesy.

I really hope this music I kept on hearing while reading this book goes away soon.......ugh!!!

Not a romance at all but a gateway story. Hard to tell where this will go with the next installment. Lots of potential for either people happy with getting exactly what they want but also the potential for taking a dark turn. Looking forward to the next book.

This is a sexy little story about a girl being interviewed for a sub school. It's a well-written story and the sex is definitely hot. I'll definitely read the next in the series.
