Took a page out of Mia’s book and decided that some educational reading material would elevate the road trip experience. It has - even though the amount of reasons why Catholics and Protestants cannot seem to accommodate each other is too lengthy to recount. Gotta love the Irish. ☘️

I'd be interested to know who picked the history depicted in this book. It mostly had to do with wars and acts of violence, which is fine, but a country is more than its violence. Show me the cultural movements, the women of this country, and their contributions even some folklore. I'm aware that this book is 60 pages long but I know you could've done better than that.

Simple book that I picked up in Ireland years ago. At only 60 pages it wasn't going to do more than summarise some of the major events in Ireland's history, but it taught me a few things. And I still reckon I'm descended from Finn Mac Cool!
