I did take a couple of Statistics based courses back in college. So, I read this as a refresher and found the explanations to be better than many of the books that I referred back them. Of course, the book does not go in too deep, but the fundamentals are clearly detailed with examples.

I really loved the chapters on statistical significance testing (explanation using legal analogy) and the one about 'lies and statistics' (sort of like a summary of How to Lie with Statistics by Darrell Huff).
