This book offers four short ghost stories that are based on real people, places and events that have now become American legends. The narrative for each story is short and the illustrations really complement the tales. We enjoyed reading this book together.
This book was interesting and would really keep a 2nd grader interested. It was easy to read with longer paragraphs so it was a little more challenging and had a great story line of a ship being haunted and seeing ghosts and everything that 2nd graders would enjoy. It would be a fun free read book.
