In 1995 I enjoyed watching the repeats of the 1960s' TV series "The Avengers" so much that when I saw this book about the series advertised I put it on my Christmas wants list. Therefore, I reckon it would've been January 1996 when I read it.

It's written by a dedicated fan of the show who covers all eras including "The New Avengers" from the 1970s. Plenty of quality photos are also included.
