I have no finish date on this book because I keep reading it (or at least parts). You see, I teach golf. After attending clinics, watching golf channel, and taking lessons myself over the years, I was never content on my approach for teaching the full swing. Like my learning, my teaching was disjointed and it felt like a hodge-podge way to teach my students. McLean has cured that problem. Extremely clear and now after at least a year and half of using the 8 step swing in my teaching I can attest that this is the clearest and most logical approach for understanding the golf swing. It has helped me tremendously in my teaching and my game.

This is the best golf book that I have read in my life. Before picking it up, I had a limited understanding of the golf swing and the short game. Now, after finishing the book, I have an in depth understanding of every area of the golf game. Jim McLean, the author and one of the world's best teachers, does an excellent job at explaining every area of the game. I especially recommend this book to those that are looking for a very good understanding of the long game in golf.
