Out of all the books that we read today, this one was my favorite. I think it would be great for the age that I want to teach at school and I like all the stories it told. The author didn't cut it off for shortness but instead made sure that the entire story was heard. I really enjoyed all of the personal insight and feeling as well as experiences that were put into this book. The artwork was also really good as well!!

I think this book is great for kids! It allows them to see how schools used to be in earlier times. I think that children will be interested to compare and contrast things that happened in school back then and during their times now. If i read this to my students i think it will be really funny/ interesting to hear what they have to say about school back then.

I found this to be a very charming book. It gave an insightful and realistic view of what one room school houses were like. I think children would enjoy being able to compare their school experience with this one.
