His writing voice is immediately recognizable, and his fans number in the millions. This devotional is a collection of readings from other books and articles Wangerin had written up to the point of the book's publication. Each passage is relatively short and is accompanied by a Bible passage readers can look up on their own. I enjoyed the stories most. Some of the connections to scripture seemed more applicable than others. Not sure I would recommend to all readers as I don't know that we read and appreciate these types of passages anymore.
