Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas Not the Screenplay

Rate this book
Based on the novel by Hunter S. Thompson, this is the screenplay of the movie. Includes thoughts by both Tony Grisoni and Terry Gilliam. "Transferred to the screen by Gilliam with a fidelity to the author's imagery ... here it is in all its splendiferous funhouse terror; the closest sensory approximation of an acid trip ever achieved by a mainstream movie." - The New York Times

Goes to show you can flaunt screenplay convention if you have a name in the industry. Still a remarkable distillation of what long seemed unfilmable.
