A look at the design and construction of Ironhorse Golf Club in Palm Beach County, Florida in the mid 1980s. It is also a personal odyssey into the world of golf course building, with humor and keen observation. The best book I've read on this topic.

Literally the life of a project! From vacant land to property rights to the spine of the course itself; Driving the Green takes you through it all. One of the most inspirational works I've ever read. Hit me near-n-dear to my dream of building my own practice facility. Definitely kept on the 're-read' shelf! d.r. Shore (Dewey)
