Law and Disorder: Partners Undercover

Rate this book
Morgan Dane lived life on the edge as a member of the Northern Ohio Law Enforcement Task Force; hunting criminals was in her blood. Not one to live the fast life or fall in love easily, she prided herself on being focused and not letting outside influences interfere with hunting Cleveland's most notorious drug dealer, Anton Jackson. Once her beloved partner retires, she fails to make a connection with a number of partners before settling in with Agent Adam Cabrera; the handsome Latino transfer from Miami, Florida.

It wasn't love at first sight or a perfect paring but Agent Paul Hamilton's mission was to change Morgan Dane's cold resistance towards love. How will these three work together? Will they find the professionalism to handle the high profile case that they will become deeply entangled in or will they find friendship once common ground has been established? Step in Carmen Maria, the one person to make sure Morgan Dane makes this partnership work with Adam Cabrera on and off the field.

Follow the intrigue, suspense and light comedy of this novel of love and hate to find out the twists, turns and events leading up to the perfect match for these displaced team members.

A excellent story

I don't have anything negative to say. Adam and Eden were well written character with depth. Adam was a man who loved Eden without second guessing how he felt about her.

At the beginning of Law and Disorder, we find Morgan Dane a dedicated member of Ohio Law Enforcement who doesn’t believe in love. Her new partner, Agent Adam Cabrera, feels he has the insight into every female agent, and they all have bad attitudes and chips on their shoulders. There's obvious friction up front between the two and it only adds to the give and take. Not only that, both agents are embroiled in a high profile case to catch a drug dealer. If you’ve read Ms. Brown’s other books in typical fashion she balances the budding love between Morgan and Adam with humor, works in plenty of action and suspense to keep the reader involved while giving us an adventurous read. If you like strong independent female characters, hot men around six-two, and a realistic portrayal of their falling in love with a clever plotline, you’ll enjoy Law and Disorder.

This has to be the most hilarious novel that Mrs. Brown has written. Morgan Dane is definitely my new favorite character. I'm going to keep this review short due to spoilers but take my word on it...it's really good! Can't wait to read the next one.
