An encouraging practical book for single mums and anyone who cares about mothers raising children alone. Only drawback is that is book is written for the US readers so the legal and other support help will vary in different countries.

Each chapter begins with a short experience of a single mum then details the challenges for the single mother and provides practical suggestion as how the face these difficulties plus hope for the future. Scattered throughout the book are standout fears and hopes of a single mum plus helpful quotes and bible verses. Each chapter concludes with reflective questions.

The layout of the book and the authors style make the work very readable and oddly for such a sad topic enjoyable.
