I cannot even say how long we’ve had this cookbook, it is so well used that pages have slipped from the binding and there are splatter marks everywhere. We had absolutely no idea how to grill prior to owning this and it’s simple clear instructions have taught us a ton. New York Strip Steaks w/ Crushed Garlic & Tennessee BBQ sauce, Mt Olympus Meatball Kebabs, Cedar Planked Salmon w/ Honey-Lime Dressing are some of our favorites.
Weber's Real Grilling is such a good looking recipe book, with huge full-page photos that I shouldn't have looked at before lunch. I don't grill but my dad does, so this is a good gift for him.
Hands down the most dependable cookbook in our library. After trying at least two dozen different recipes, we still haven't found one that didn't leave us asking, "Why do we ever go out to eat?" Amazingly delicious and relatively simple recipes for every kind of meat, as well as fruits and vegetables, and a section each on desserts and appetizers.
This is my go to book for grilling. Lots of easy to follow recipes and it has given me a lot of ideas to customize my own recipes for sauces, rubs and marinades. Sometimes I will look at it to find ideas before going to Costco to get meat. Still quite a few recipes to try, but so far I have loved everything it has helped me create.
Daniel and I have gotten great use out of this cookbook. We use it once or twice a week. It has easy to medium recipes and the ingredients the recipes call for are usually within a normal grocery store.
I bought this for my sis for Christmas because it looked SO good. Then I checked it out from the library so I could look more closely. I copied at least 15-20 of the recipes and can't wait to try them.
Solid reference for grilling. Love how it's arranged/tabbed by meat type. Great assortment of rubs and marinades. Good resource for preparation of meats for grilling purposes. Makes me wish we had a charcoal grill too!
