With their sharp teeth and keen sense of prey, sharks outlived dinosaurs and have survived 400 million years. BBC journalist and veteran diver John McIntyre has been swimming close to these sleek, swift predators for much of his adult life. His Savage Predators of the Oceans is both a tribute to these mythic creatures and a cogent examination of our often-bumbling encounters with them.
Good reading, sadly not too deep on information just basics which one might already know. Great photography including one Dear to me of a shark taken by a UM that is University of Miami Marine Biologist. Very quick reading like a refresher more of a pictorial at just under 100 pages.
before i read this book i thought sharks were mean cruel creatures but now i understand sharks better then i used to. they are just misunderstood creatures
