After reading quite a few BDSM books, I was kind of tired of the often cliched use of language and what felt more and more like a tired approach. This book is different. If you like, it's like the difference between a highly posed professional porn shot which has no soul, and a brilliantly taken amateur one which is full of desire. The way the author talks about the character's mindset is subtle and not overdone, and the scenarios are edgy and brilliantly written. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants something with an extra dimension without losing the eroticism. Can't wait for the next in the sequel.

A bunch of edgy sex scenes barely tied together with a thin plot and 1 dimensional characters. If you're looking for something to wank to, then this is it, otherwise give it a miss...I wish I had.

Would have received 2* but for present tense.

Tries far too hard to be edgy, urban, sexy and unfortunately fails on most counts. The BDSM is synonymous with Russian Roulette given how little influence she has on the activities.

A headfuck, as such some people may enjoy this. I need a bit more than just that.
