Jiggy’s mum is sick of the state of both Jiggy and his room. Worst of all is the state of his undies, which Jiggy hates to change and are full of holes. She buys him new underpants from the market but they are no ordinary underpants, they are the underpants from hell. Once they go on, they won’t come off which should have been a good thing, but when they start to make him itch, strange things begin to happen.......
MY FAVOURITE PART:
There are a lot of really good bits in this book but the very best thing was watching my mum’s face turn green while she was reading the bit involving Pete’s foot.... and if you want to know more, you have to read the book
i read the killer underpants witch is about these underpants that WONT come of jiggy macue. then later he found out that when they itch so much he can tell people to do stuff, and they have to obey! he found this really help full but they still would not come of of him. then him and his 2 best friends have to help. they find out that if he goes close to heather the pants will come down so that is what he does for 3 days, he rolls in heather. finally they come of, but then they go missing... the main character in this book is jiggy, he is 12 and keeps having problems unfold around him! i really liked this book since it made me really picture it in my mind.
I FINALLY read this book after like 10 years. But takes me back to my childhood when i was obsessed with Jiggy Mccue books (highly underrated childrens books). Not my favourite of the bunch, buts its the first written so understandable.
This book is so hilarious. Its about a boy, actually, pants. HAHA. There is this boy who needs to get new underpants so his mum buys him really embarresing ones. Once he put them on, he can't get them off again and he needed to wash with the boys after P.E but he couldn't get them off. He got told off and they shinked. I will not tell you more because you have to read it yourself to find it funny.
Yes, I'm a teen but I read this series. It's highly entertaining, witty in many ways, and the protagonist is a rounded character who is quirky and interesting. Read it- it will make your day!
Even at the age of 21, I'd happily read all the Jiggy books again, and probably again. In fact, I think some of the humour is understood and enjoyed more now I am older.
Absolutely FANTASTIC book! Funny from the get-go, and a ride you will never forget. Very hard to read out loud to kids, as you find you're laughing every second line. Bloody good!
My mom purchased this book for my kids while she lived in England. It is hilarious and makes for a fun read aloud. Definitely a bit of little boy humor.
A quick but fun read that definitely had me laughing out loud more than once! Jiggy is a sassy, sarcastic but exceptionally relatable teen and I love reading all about his (mis) adventures.
