This is a good mix of Dewdney's work--some of the poems are very experimental, reminding one of William S. Burroughs's experiments with "cut-ups," while other of the poems are rather conventional (at least in comparison to Dewdney's more experimental work).

The book also includes some prose sketches of the sort one finds in Dewdney's prose works (Acquainted with the Night : Excursions Through the World After Dark, Last Flesh: Life in the Transhuman Era, and Secular Grail). So, a good overview of some of Dewdney's poetic modes.
