I had such high hopes for this book and usually I rip through menage like crazy, but this book was actually a little painful to read and not because of all the punishments. The ONLY reason why it got two stars and not one was because of the ONE (yes, I said one, uno, une, solo) menage scene!

What did I hate the most about this book? HER NAME IS ZOEY. She is by far THE most annoying female character I have read about in erotica. She's a large animal vet and SHE doesn't KNOW that antibiotics turn birth control pills into placebos!? They cram that down your throat when you go on the pill and I'm SURE she's been on them for quite a while since she made a clear reference to the fact that Jack was starting to go gray (yeah, thanks for that reference!). Her solution to realizing that she is in love with three men who all love her in return is running away? She fails to mention to them that she owns a 1,400 acre ranch in Colorado when they are all trying to figure out what to do with their lives in Missouri so they can run after her to Colorado? She's a brat. I never really understood what that term meant in BDSM terms until this book. She's a TOTAL spoiled self-centered whiny brat. And her tattoos and piercings are weird, especially the treehouse one. She LET someone pierce her nipple!? OMG. I'm sorry, but anyone who has piercings and tats will tell you that it's not a decision that you take on lightly. And her running horse tramp stamp? Mmmphm.

Dane...controlling dark Dom and not in a sexy hot way. Jack...um...I have no comment other than beating the shit out of her behind the sassafras bush without her consent just for riding a horse that was wild was a tad uncalled for; however, his hotness factor did increase a little after his little lesson at the BDSM club. "Naked. Now." Ryan, I liked. He knew he wanted her no matter what (God knows why) and he was the first one to make the decision that he was leaving with her, with or without the other two, period, and wrapped up all his crap so that he could. And that scene in the office with the rose...pretty hot. But again...they didn't know that antibiotics rendered the pill useless?

The club was creepy. It was not at all hot like other BDSM club that have been featured in books. To my knowledge, Adam and Eve is a WEBSITE, it does not have stores. "Is there an app for apple raisin cake?" Seriously? This book either had no editing or a really poor editor. And where is the explanation of their history? I kept expecting flashbacks, like THIS is what happened here, and THIS is what happened here, but nope. We don't even know that Dane saved her from drowning until like, what, 80% through the book? How did she fall in love with all three of them when they are all so clearly different men? The romance was very, very lacking, and I think it's because there was no character development....except, of course, around Miss Zoey Matthews, the PRINCESS. GAG.

I did like the fact that Dane and Ryan agreed, no question, to her marrying Jack because of his family, and I LOVED where she came up with the name Sage for their daughter.

I have read a lot of books that were $2.99 and under that were better than this one. I kept reading reviews that said, don't judge this book by its cheesy cover. Well...I think I should have. Lisa, I am SO sorry I chose this one for our buddy read!!!

I need brain bleach.

This was an amazing roller coaster of a ride. Lila Munro paints a wonderful world where four people fight to love each other. At times I was cheering for them and at other times I wished I had a 2X4 to use on them. The stubbornness and secrets kept cropping up and ruining the best laid plans.

Ms. Munro does a fantastic job of creating 4 people who are each independent with their own personalities and quirks. Each of those personalities and quirks builds a foundation for an amazing relationship between these four people. While all three men are alpha males, they have to find a way to compromise or risk losing the one person who completes them all, Zoey. Zoey is just as independent and stubborn and it drives the three men batty as they fight to protect her from herself.

Jack is the conservative, closet Dom. Ryan is the young one, who goes with the flow and knows how to share. Dane is the dark one, with dark needs. They each love Zoey and want her forever. Will they learn to share so they can all keep her?
