She has also written more than 50 non-fiction books for children on topics such as space, exploration, holidays, history and geology. She travels the world getting ideas for her books with her husband, a petroleum engineer. She lives in Katy, Texas.

-REVIEW:
This is an excellent informational text that goes into detail about one specific and interesting profession, astronauts. There are excellent photographs and lots of unfamiliar information. The layout of this book is friendly and seems easy for children to navigate.
