About the author

Margaret K Johnson was born in Hertfordshire, England. She writes women's fiction and readers for people learning to speak English.

Margaret's novel The Goddess Workshop is a roller-coaster comedy about a mismatched group of women with a common aim - becoming confident, sensual beings. Her second women's fiction novel, The Dare Club is about a group of people who meet on a Divorced and Separated course. They decide to challenge each other to do daring things as part of their discovery process. But is saying how you really feel the most daring thing of all?

Margaret's readers for people learning to speak English are published by Cambridge English Readers, Cambridge Discovery Readers and Cengage Learning. They are in lots of different genres including Fantasy, Romance, Human Interest, Thriller, Fact Book and Adapted Short Stories.

As well as fiction, Margaret has written plays and screen plays. Her comedy GODDESS was performed at Cambridge Drama Centre to rave reviews.

Margaret has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia.

3.boys,mother,dangerous,bad,panther,friends,woods
4.a)Two boys are friends.Luke and Alex.They are high school students.Alex is dangerous boy. He was often doing awful things.For example, stoling cellphone from woman, setting fire to woods. Luke started to think he is crazy and cruelty. But he couldn't quit to play with him easily because they has been friends since they were little. Hpwever,when Alex setted fire to the woods, He couldn't forgive him.he had been loved the forest,he often used to go there. He was worried about animals which is living in the woods.So he went to the woods only himself .Animals were escaped unhurt. But Then he found a dog which is dead. Then he saw tracks. The tracks were so large.It was panther's tracks....
b) I impressed the Luke's character. He is so kind boy. He was scared about panther. But he tried to give meat to the panther.Because he thought if he gave her meat,she wouldn't be hungly.She wouldn't have to kill animals.He also thought if she killed any more animals, people try to kill her.So he was often buying meats and gave her. He started to have a friendship with the panther!

5.The last scene of this book is happy end.But little scarly. Luke and Alex fighted. Then the panther attacked Alex to defend Luke!! Fortunately he survived but Luke changed school.Because he didn't want to see Alex anymore. Their friendship was not real thing. I am proud of him. He lost his friend, but he did a good decision. friends are important. But we have to have good friends who give us good effects!!
