There’s not really that much I can say about this book, it does its job and what more can you want? Surprisingly, I read this because my theory test was coming up. I can’t say it was the most riveting of books and I was glad to get through it, but it’s not really supposed to be exciting.
The information was easy to understand and set out in sections that made it easy to navigate if there was something you wanted to look up or revise.
The writing was backed up with colourful pictures, some that where drawings and some that were photos. They were used to re-alliterate the writing but the layout could be a little better as they weren’t always with the relevant piece of information. I also found that some of the pictures made it harder rather than easier to understand what was being explained.
I can’t really say much about the questions as they were past questions from tests and you couldn’t really go wrong there. However, there were some questions that were pretty much the same and the odd question would answer a previous one. I also want to know here the idea of drinking milk after you’d been drinking came from?
The book must have been useful as I passed my theory test (or maybe I’m just awesome) and I’ve lent a friend it and she seems to be finding it helpful.
