Anything by the late lamented Peter Gurney is miles better than 90% of the guinea pig care books out there. However, this is a slim retelling of The Proper Care of Guinea Pigs, so there's nothing new for readers who have other Peter Gurney books. Its a wonderful book. If I need to know anything about Guinea pigs, I go straight to this book! I highly recommend it to people who wants a guinea pig or who wants to learn more about them. Its fantastic!!

Quite informative, albeit a tad try (and quite outdated by now).
