هذا الكتاب يحمل فيضا من الافكار اللانهائية وهو بمثابة مرجع يمكن استخدامه بشكل دائم. ان تأثير هذا الكتاب مدهش ولقد تأثر به المهتمون بالعملية التعليمية. وهو يفصل كل شيء. لقد ساعدت الاستراتيجيات الواردة فيه الكثيرين على احداث فارق ايجابي حقيقي في فصولهم الدراسية وفي حياتهم أيضا.

I found this in a giveaway pile in the teacher's lounge. It is rather dated, being from 1995, but it isn't espousing old, disproven techniques, it's championing techniques that are now mainstream and taught to new teachers. So it was ahead of its time. :) The blurb on the front reads "Over 1,000 practical teaching strategies", so I was looking for more of a list of things I could DO in class. This book actually has more teaching theory and research in it, though. Don't reach for this one if you want a cookbook recipe of things to do. I marked quite a few pages to remember and found myself thinking that this or that was a really good idea and also was reminded of some things I learned in teacher school but had forgotten in the rush and craziness of my first few years of teaching. I found quite a few ideas and strategies that I want to incorporate. That is the goal of any education text!

I enjoyed going through all the pages every couple of days it is very inspiring and very creative!!
a book I'd treasure forever it's Both informative and applicable!! and I certainly recommend all teachers to have their own copy of the book you'll find it in Arabic at Jarir bookstore!!

قوة الاختيار التى تكمن فى اللحظات التى تفصل بين المنبه والاستجابة، فإما أن نستسلم لما يدفعنا إليه الطرف الآخر ، أو نتحمّل مسئولية ما سيصدر منا من رد فعل.

يجب أن تدرك أن هدفك هو أن تقلل من تحيّزك وتشبثك برأيك غير الموضوعى قدر الإمكان، انطلاقا من وعيك بأنك تميل للإنحياز.

This is a great resource, I don't care how long you have been teaching. Some fresh ideas, and some things that y9u have forgotten were good!
