Learn to Play Bridge in a Weekend (Learn in a weekend) Hardcover October 21, 1993

Rate this book
The fascinating intricacies of bridge can boggle the minds of newcomers and put them off learning the game. Jonathan Davis shows that while the subtleties of master play may take years to master, anyone can learn the game well enough to enjoy playing in a single weekend. He makes it easy by breaking down the game into a few technical matters and a series of techniques that can be learned in bite-size pieces and practiced over two days. He ends his educational "weekend" with additional useful information on bridge etiquette, equipment, bidding tips, and more.

It took me months and not a weekend to grasp the basic principles of the game, but I found the book very useful, with many explicative examples.
