This book by Dorothy Kelley Patterson is a short quick read, but very encouraging. It is nothing new but a good reminder of the role women play as wives and mothers. It was most certainly an encouragement to me as a stay-at-home mom who sometimes, many times, takes that for granted. I was thankful to be reminded of the God given calling He has given to me and I would recommend it to others to be reminded of what God has called you to.

So convicted right now. This caused me to do some serious self reflection. Wow. I will be rereading this one over and over again to remind myself of my purpose and calling, not as a mother, but as a woman of God who is a mom, wife, homemaker, working woman, writer, student, and everything in between.

Patterson gets it! Short but well-written work on how motherhood is a huge part of God's design for rearing godly posterity, not godless ambition.
