This book is made up of short extracts from classics in the genre. Well told and should have readers eager to learn more about the originals.

The oversized fold-out pirate is unfortunately the best thing about this book. Most of the pirate stories are disappointing and end abruptly.

What a major disappointment. I bought the book because I saw a whole lot of pirate stories were in it and there incredible poster of a pirate in it. Sadly some of the stories I had to read more than once, because honestly, they did not make sense. It's as if someone edited the book way too much and left out the details part. The only reason this book gets a 2 star is because of the poster, which the boys in my class are enjoying.
