A very classic, but nicely balanced, short biography of Thomas More. Probably outdated by now, but I liked it.

I find Daniel Sargent's biographies to be similar to William Thomas Walsh. The writing is so engaging, forward, and entertaining. The way he writes of the figure at hand is informative but one never loses the sense that he is reading a captivating true story. I highly recommend this author.
